  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Am amused how Lent ended 2 weeks ago and we are now seeing a sudden splurge of really un-Lent food posts

And I have a question about this: Light Me A Candle for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store.

What do you think? For those who hate clicking links, its an iPod application that is supposed to mimic the sort of candle you light in prayer or place before an icon.... They also have a weird sort of Unitarian prayer request thing that you can email prayer requests into which I can't see myself using. I like the devotional candle idea because having a real candle = $300 fine in dorm.

That's only the double baconator. It's for sissies. Three beef patties is the least necessary to make a manly sandwich. :)
how about four?

The sauce is messy, but it's lighter & less salty than a triple Baconator- not that I've eaten both in the last 2 weeks for comparison's sake ;)

Proud to say that I have, and further Baconator action is on the agenda for the weekend!

878 words. *takes a deep breath* I only need another 100 words or so on what Catullus shows about ancient rome's view of sexuality (not much in my poems unfortunately) and i can write the intro and conclusion, fix the footnotes and be done. And stagger my way through the day.

Hey Kyriaki good luck with your essay.

Isn't sauce supposed to be messy?

Not to the point where the chicken's salt layer-oops I mean breading gets soggy ;)

No. You are right there. But alot of sauce is a good thing, as long as the sandwich is well made.
