CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry to hear that Michael, I hope it's nothing bad. My DH has not felt well the last few days. He is freezing and it's not cold in here! If I turn the heat up then I'm baking but he refuses to wrap up in a blanket. It's a man thing.

Men are so flighty and unpredictable.In my house, we have the opposite, and I thought it was a woman thing.
I think we'll both be tested in the winter storm that will be hitting here tomorrow. I just hope and pray that we don't have electricity outages like the last time. It's supposed to start out with 4 inches of ice and then turn into a blizzard. We'll find a way to stay warm, but I hope it's with electricity.

Good evening to all! I'm feeling great again...but, I gave it to Linda. 
She's more sick than she's been in a long time. I've been doing what I can to care for her, including lots of prayer. More would be appreciated!
