We can weigh in all we want but the Church considers it wrong. And in the end, thats all that matters. What the Church actually believes & teaches.
If there are medical issues, then thats between her & her priest to figure out.
The Church is nothing without God, and what does God say about it? Nothing. So how can the Church go out on a limb and make a statement for ALL to believe, when they don't even have God's support? Everything anyone needs to know about sin is written in the Bible, everything else is a judgement based on personal values.
the sin on Onan is in the Bible, and since such things as tube tying were not around back then we can not say "well since this was not around then it can not be a sin" for there is nothing new under the sun. the artificial divide of sex and procreation is sinful, we can see that it goes agianst Gods command to Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, it is a type of OnanismThe Church is nothing without God, and what does God say about it? Nothing. So how can the Church go out on a limb and make a statement for ALL to believe, when they don't even have God's support? dear brother, please try to be kind and show some respect to our guest, he is new to CF and might not know the rules about debate and he might not know what the Church teachesTake your sola scriptura elsewhere. This is the Catholic forum.
