In your own words, and your own experience, how would you define asexualism? My limited understanding of it is that there is no sexual desire, would this be correct?

I would define simply as the lack of sexual attraction. I'm not the romantic kind of asexual, so I really don't desire romance or relationships either, but some do. So yeah, you're correct. There is no "want".

They say that men who don't have sexual attraction tend to have very high estrogen rates and low testosterone rates. You may just have a hormonal problem. Your lucky though in some ways since men(and women) struggle allot with things like fornication and adultery. have you considered becoming a monastic?

I don't want to have sex with anything really.
I don't watch inappropriate contentography, but normally it just repulses me.
I can touch if I want to.. the plumbing works.

I don't intend to have a family at this point, but if I somehow ended up married I'd rather have my own kids.

I'm very much a guy, though I haven't been checked. I have not considered being a monastic. I don't see the point.

A. I'm a bit of a loner, but I don't need to be one. Having friends is nice.
B. I don't know, it's possible, but I've never had a "family drive".

Both, probably not.

I personally find this idea very alien, I'm kind of the opposite of an asexual (I very recently did a devotional to Aphrodite) so the concept of someone who doesn't feel lust is very odd to me.

It's a two way street. I don't really understand sexual people all that well myself, what I do know is from all the traditions and media which are all about sex. I'm not especially curious to be strongly sexual...I imagine it'd be a real hassle.

It's not quite the same, since asexual are often not believed, and also not gay they're just seen as the default.

No, kids are ok. I work with kids at church. I'd rather work with adults, though.

Romantic asexuals exist, but they do not want sex. They will not want it for themselves, otherwise they're not asexual. If they do it, it's because they want to please the other person. Asexaul + Non-asexual couples? Depends on the people, but often it can end in ruin.

It can definitely get in the way sometimes but I wouldnt trade it for all the tea in China The intensity of experiences is amazing.

Understand though that the media is a very poor representation of people in general, not just about sex.

People are poor in copying it too, but for some reason they often go for it, almost subconsciously.
