So don't second guess the Almighty.

Indeed! That would be nearly impossible! As I listen to Fundamentalists and Creationists I realize that God is so beyond human understanding that it would be wholly irrational to try to figure out why God did anything!

Yet the Fundamentalists and Creationists want to use God in science to explain things.

Wow.

Either that or they want us to throw up our hands and just recite "God did this thing". And be done with it.

Back to the caves! Back to the tents! Yay "regress"!

Now if only we had a glimpse of such a paradise of theocracy! Hmmmm.

The darkness of anti creation fables has assaulted the minds and hearts of men. It has done so falsely, under the cover of science. Therefore, turning over the rock, and looking at the worms underneath is a worthy venture.

Creationists want to use science, as long as, and only as long as it is actual knowledge, and science.

You can't claim a cloud of magical dust shot up and somehow formed the moon, and say it is science. Nor can science explain the water on the moon, as the OP illustrates. Deal with the reality.

Why would anyone 'throw their hands up. and claim God did it? The intellectual will look at the facts, and quickly see science doesn't know, as they admit they do not know! Then, they can look at known observational records of man, and see if there is any explanation that actually fits. To be a good explanation, it need not stick to the pitiful science that does not know. Get it? It is perfectly OK to include the bible in any real explanations, despite the religious jealousy and vitriolic hatred of God and the bible by some people, who would prefer some other way. No. That is the way it is, and was, and will be.

And how do we know it's "actual knowledge"? Why, if it conforms to your particular sect's reading of the Bible then it must be "actual knowledge".

Be careful what you wish for, Dad. Because some day a different religion might be calling the shots.

You can't claim a cloud of magical dust shot up and somehow formed the moon, and say it is science.

I believe those are what is called "hypotheses". Untested "guesses" relying on natural concepts and not invoking supernatural beings that cannot even be understood by their own worshippers.

Anyone who tells you how they think the moon was formed is expressing an opinion. Until more data is collected.

That's why it's important to keep investigating.

Religious zealots and fundamentalists couldn't understand that because they know they have "absolute truth" and never need to learn another thing so long as they live. They got it all in the bag!

Learning is such a bad thing. It's great when you never have to learn anything else so long as you live!

Ya --- it's called the Tribulation Period --- when the Church gets raptured and scientism takes over.

Unchecked.

No, if we for example saw the planet Y smash up, and shoot up dust, and 'somehow' form the moon, that would be actual knowledge!

I hope so. I am tired of the environmentalists calling the shots. I think I will throw out some plastic in the garbage just to spite them:)

But, relax, no one will push God around, ever. No worries there at all. Man's days of long agaonizing wicked despots are nearing a close. The final one will hardly be here long enough to say..'have a dip, punk'

A new day is coming.

Same state past fabrications. I know. Hilarious.

More data! Try some data first. Then you work your way to more! Give us the data on planet Y!!! How about that dust cloud that spawned the moon! Get serious, you have no data. I have data. I have the word of God. You just defend those that make stuff up. Godless stuff.

That's why it's important to keep investigating.

Bible believers are not religious zealots. The ones that mindlessly toss out the scared records and even pagan records and anything else that doesn't conform to their animalistic, Darwinistic, unrealistic world view and belief system!

Learning is such a bad thing. It's great when you never have to learn anything else so long as you live!
Oh, come on now. Breathing is not such a bad thing either. But we need not stick our mouth and nose over an anesthetist's hose! (or a tube coming out of a car muffler) Leaning is not a bad thing, but we need not dismiss all things we do know, just to learn insane, unproven, and utterly godless theories of man.

Nothing beats a good dose of sarcasm, does it?

It seems like a great use for atheists. I mean if you guys are going to leave behind your pets, someone should take care of them, shouldn't they?

Besides, you shouldn't get your panties in a twist. I am merely treating what you hold dearly the same way you treat what I hold dearly. Remember, in those immortal words:

"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise."

(You're welcome!)

Something wrong with saved pets?

Nothing at all. Except I'm afraid my dog, Aleister Growley, may be beyond redemption. He can be such a nasty cuss at times.

He is, after all...a beast. (-rimshot-)

But he's still my pup!

So go ahead and baptize your kitty cats (I'd avoid full immersion if I were you...they can get scratchy) and you minister to the hamsters to your heart's content.

Great, so I do think the pets of the saved will be in heaven.

Speaking of your dog, is that a breakaway collar he's wearing?

I call that particular design, the "United Nations".

That's funny! Too bad you have to share the planet with us. Maybe you good folks will be raptured before the planet is completely destroyed.

Oh please, do tell scientists how to do there job! Right after we enjoy reading your version of algebra and astronomy we can get right on that!

That would only apply in the present universe, one would assume that the SN originated in the former state, or at least the changing universe process.

OK. So, W is the will of God. X is one star, and Y is another. And FL is the former light speed.

X x FL divided by W = W FL
Y x FL divided by W = W FL
W FL x W = W FL
If W = Y FL, and W = X FL, and X does not = Y then either speed is W. (even if different)

First, that's not Aleister...that's Dr. H. (And in reality neither of my dogs is named Aleister Growley or Dr. H. But one of them often deserves the name Aleister Growley). But I don't think that is a breakaway collar. It's just a clip collar.

I call that particular design, the "United Nations".

Why "United Nations"? (Breaks under strain?)

Nuts!

You stole my thunder --- I was setting you up for a Rapture joke with that breakaway collar.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's got all different colors around the band --- kinda reminds me of the flags displayed at the U.N.

One more question:

Did someone else use your logon the other day?

The post wasn't your typical style.

Why, are we to blame now?

[Oh please, do tell scientists how to do there job! Right after we enjoy reading your version of algebra and astronomy we can get right on that!..[/quote]

After all this time, I see you still don't get it. Maybe I should have broken it down for you earlier.

"OK. So, W is the will of God. X is one star, and Y is another. And FL is the former light speed.

X x FL divided by W = W FL

In other words the former light speed as applied to any star makes the speed equal to the will of God. Therefore, the will of God equals whatever His will is for the light from the star in the former state.

Y x FL divided by W = W FL

So, one star, or the light from it, as subjected to the will of God, is exactly how fast that light got anywhere in the former state.

W FL x W = W FL

Or, His will, times whatever speed light moved, equals His will for the speed of light in the former state..

If W = Y FL, and W = X FL, and X does not = Y then either speed is W. (even if different)"

So, His will, is exactly what star Y had it's light move. Same thing with the other star, 'X'! And both stars can have their light move at different speeds, according to His will, rather than be bound to some fixed speed, as we see in this state!

-- --- Surely that clears up your old quandry.

Lulz at Dad's pathetic attempt at algebraic formula using things that don't exist.

(X + G + H + Y + C + (C^2)) x (JK) = A

X represents the Orcs in Sauron's army.
G represents the Goblins in Sauron's army.
H represents the Fighting Uruk'hai in Saruman's army.
Y represents the trolls in Sauron's army.
C represents the Ring Wraiths.

J represents the power of the One Ring
K represents the will of Sauron, exerted over the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie.
A represents the overall power of Sauron.
