CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I met Fr. Stan in 1998. He has hardly changed a bit. He is one of Fr. Groeshels brothers.
does he still have al that beautiful long hair? hope this doesn't sound disrespectful but he is a handsome priest.

If you look up Fr. Groeshels order there is a picture of all the priests on the web page with Fr. Stan included.
Last I saw he looked exactly like he did back in 98. Of course pictures and TV aren't going to show the fine wrinkles and gray hairs.
I think he is a lot older than he looks. For some reason I am thinking he is nearing 50 years old.
He really has a passion for reaching out to youth and inner city folks. I have found him as orthodox a priest as they come even though he appears unorthodox in some of his methods. Its a cultural thing mostly to connect with who he is preaching to. I think its genius.

actually I did see him on ewtn not long ago and he was starting to gray. I think he's pretty cool and "real."

I could have sworn their site looked different. Maybe its changed. The last picture I saw only showed like 12 of them.
Maybe its grown since then. I know they aren't that old because I have heard Fr. Groeshel talk about their founding. Glad to see them growing so much. They have a sisterhood now too.

Can anyone else pick him out?

I had the great opportunity to see him 10 years ago at a local Church. Great life story, great singer, and ultimately great priest.
