I have an excellent pic to share but how do I do so? Do I have to upload it somewhere else on the net and then link to it?

You can either attach it to a post or you can put it online and show it here. See that little yellow square above the reply box that says Insert Image when you hover over it? If you have a photo online, you enter the URL of that photo using that button. Otherwise, if you want to attach it from your hard drive, click the button below the reply box that says Go Advanced. On the next page there is a button above the reply box that looks like a paper clip. That's the one you use to upload a photo from your computer. Hope that helps! You can pm me if you need further assistance.

This a cathedral in Puerto Vallarta. Very cool place. I certainly liked the tattoo shop sign mixed in there.

Another Mexico shot. I was driving and wanted the giant bouler in the ocean, but the Beetle with the mohawk got in the way.

This is my absolute most favorite shot that i have. I snapped this at a private beach in Mexico. The waves were beautiful against the rocks.

I'm not saying this to pick on you, but people are kind of darned if they do and darned if they don't, then. If someone compliments one of your pics, you negate the compliment. If they say nice pic, you assume they're being superficial and insincere (at least that's how I'm reading your little vent about "nice pics" comments) and if they don't comment at all - then what?

I get very few comments on pics that I post. I just assume that my beauty is so stunning that people are left speechless.




Ok - not really, but honestly...people either feel led to comment or they don't...and as long as they aren't telling me I look like a hideous beast, I'm just happy they acknowledged my pics. I'm concentrating on the positive (as some very wise woman mentioned in another thread ).

When I posted a pic I didn't get any comments but I shouldn't have taken it personally!! But I did. And figured out why. I'm very self-conscious about my looks cuz my brother has been commenting on them for years.. saying I'm fat and ugly and the like, and in college some stranger walked up to me and told me I look like a freak.. and then told me she meant it in a good way.. which was confusing.. and I've been really sick over the years and not looking healthy also beat up on my self-esteem.

So I'm sorry. I need to get over being so self conscious

Oh and my hair looks darker in the second pic, but no I didn't dye my hair. I guess that's what happens when a person gets more good, plant based nutrition in their system! My aunt was pretty impressed lol.

That's cute how you consider that buried. I literally ruined my car quite horribly this past winter, due to my poor baby being so compacted by the snow storms and having to dig and scrape her out of it. Uhhh..


I like the cemetary pic, too. Cemetaries are great places to take pics -- as long as people are not grieving anywhere near you, that is. That would be in poor taste. I've taken pictures at cemetaries since I was in high school.


Mina and Super K, those are some nice, beautiful pictures of scenery. Mina, I love the time of day you decided to take your snapshots. Sweet.

Meh - I posted pics in an older thread of this title and haven't taken any since.

I generally don't comment on anyone's pics precisely because a lack of comment on another poster's pics(when you have commented on someone else's) or less than detailed and articulate praise tends to hurt feelings. The only pic I commented on that I can remember was on another thread. Perhaps I'll save the "your gorgeous" comments for private

I've been told I'm handsome, but I don't put alot of importance in it. Too often people assume "handsome" = man that has it all together, great paying job etc etc. Then they learn what I do for a living(that is, for money) and immediately become disinterested.

On one level that is ok, because it's easy to weed out gold-diggers, who are likely never to assume that I might provide for myself outside of the job they see or have something to offer otherwise.

That was in the university parking lot and I had no shovel. I had to call campus safety for one. It was really small.

I think you look gorgeous Nothing freaky whatsoever. And everyone's brother calls them fat at some point - even if they're really skinny. I think it's a blunt instrument that boys use to get on their sisters' nerves.

Now - here is what happens and why you shouldn't take it personal. I remember you posted a picture before and I could have sworn I commented on it - either in the thread or in a rep. If I didn't, then I was most likely viewing it while I was at work and had to actually go do some work then forgot to come back and comment on it later. Hence, thinking I commented on it.

I think that a lot of people do that same exact thing. In fact, soccerdad just mentioned something similar above to sweetlamb.
