Here is one from last night at the demo derby... the guy standing infront of the car is the driver.... his car got put that way... by a FEMALE driver!

Of course, that happens all the time, woman drivers

Umm...a cane doesn't make a gorgeous man less gorgeous, you know. It just makes him look like a gorgeous guy with a cane.

FTR, am I the only one who hates it when people say "nice pics" or "good pics"? Can you get any more innocuous? If you can't give a solid compliment...please...just don't say anything. "Nice pics" comes across as "omgosh you're ugly but I should say something halfway decent if I can manage it...I'll say "nice", "nice" is a safe word without lying...".

Maybe that's just how I see it.

Sorry, Ink I didn't have anything interesting to say, but wanted to show that I'd seen the photos and liked them. If I thought the pictures were ugly I wouldn't have posted at all!

Honestly, Ink, yeah, I think it is just how you see it. I think you need to work on your self esteem if you automatically assume someone saying "nice pics" means they actually think you're ugly.

I'm sure I've said "nice pics" to many people in these threads, whether it be about a picture of them or a picture of a tree or something. There's no "hidden" meaning behind it for me and I'm sure there's no hidden meaning behind anyone else that says simple comments like that, either. I'm not sure what I specifically said about your pictures, but I wouldn't make a comment if I did not like the pics*.

*Not making a comment usually doesn't mean anything, either, though. I am not going to comment on every picture everyone posts because I don't always visit this thread and when I do I don't go all the way through it. Also, a lot of times I am very tired when I look through the thread.

Oh, I'm not saying anyone should change just to suit me. I'm just saying how I feel No worries.

I guess it's just me, then. "Nice" is such a blank word. If I like someone's pic, I try to make a specific compliment, anything but just saying "nice pic". If I like their hair, I'll compliment their hair. If I like their smile, I'll compliment their smile. Etc etc etc.

FTR I have seen other people react the same way as I do to "nice pic" comments. Just not around here, lol.

I just think you're making life harder on yourself than it has to be by reading too much into a word.
