CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS no tornadoes here right now, Soccer, lol. Miles is the one having tornadoes!! But whenever we're under a watch, I don't like leaving the house, and I'm watching the sky constantly. I have tornado-phobia, whatever the technical term is.

IJWTS it always makes me a chuckle a little bit when everyone flips out about tornadoes. Living here, the tornado siren doesn't mean take cover, it means run to the front porch and watch!
It's unfortunate that around here, people don't take the tornadoes that seriously. We have the so often, people just don't care anymore. The sad thing is, that probably leads to more injuries and deaths that could have been prevented with a little preparedness.
IAJWTS I got some new sneakers in the mail today. Now I just need to take the shoe laces out so I can be like Run DMC when I rock My Adidias.
