There is nothing to support either translation. And historically these words were nto translated this way.

I treat everyone the same way, the way I would like to be treated, thus, I do not mistreat gays. I do not agree with their life style, I do not accept it as being normal, but I never mistreat anyone.

believing it is immoral doesn't make it immoral. Its immoral because God the almighty finds it detestable in his own eyes.

because all people in this world are given life. good people have bad things happen to him and vise versa. Bad people have good things happen to them. God will reward everyone according to what they have done whether good or bad. God lets the sun rise on the good and the evil and he lets the rain fall on the wicked and teh righteous. All biblical laws…sorry

Yes old testament laws given to bring order to a whole new nation that had no orginization. They were given to make a holy nation of people and bring dicipline and order. Many of they were practicing idolatry and some of the idols and false Gods worshipped had very detestable practices and rituals. These laws were given to counteract the ways that they lived before God pulled them out of egypt.

Leviticus 21: 17-21 list 7 handicaps that may not approach the alter of God
The blind,
The crippled (which I take to mean anyone with an amputation as ell
hunchback,
dwarf,
the blind,
anyone who had testicular cancer
anyone suffering from eczema (not really a handicap thou)

wrong, it was the descendants of Aaron that had these imperfections that could not go to the alter. Not everyone, just the levite priests that had these imperfections. Just as God demanded perfect animals without any blemishes to be sacrifice so he demands that no one with an imperfection sacrifrice it.

This could have been because that people cut their hair a certain way as some sort of practice or ritual to a foriegn God. Jacob had everyone change their clothes, take out there earings, and get rid of their idols in Genesis 35:2-4. Earrings don't seem harmless now but then they were worn then probably for some religous or magical belief. And change their clothes? I wonder what they dressed like that they had to change their clothes, but i'm still sure it was for a good reason, just like moses told the israelites not to cut their hair at their sites. I still don't know why some people just take little things like this out of context without thinking about them and stretch it into a BIG exageration.

Its really sad that something called “hope 4 homosexuals” relies on lies and the promotion of hatred

Just some of the lies presented:
There is no evidence that sexual orientation is inborn (there is quite a bit of evidence. There is however no evidence that sexual orientation can change)
Homosexuals are not a minority group (I guess pretending gays and lesbians aren’t a minority makes bigotry OK)
Homosexuals have shorter life expectancies (one of the more famous … infamous? Lies of the religious right)
There is “overwhelming evidence” that homosexuality stems form “traumatic childhood experiences”(…there is no such evidence)

Of course groups like this wouldn’t have much business if they didn’t lie

But it leads me to question why should I accept any of the vague testimonies …you notice no one ever says ‘I was homosexual and now I am heterosexual…its all spin and fluff and meaningless phrases… there when the site itself is filled with blatant lies.

That homosexuals are being told that they are REQUIRED by God/Jesus to change from being who they are is quite chilling. Inflicting the notion on others that a change of sexual orientation is the ONLY WAY to 'make it' with God is a HUMAN concept ...CERTAINLY NOT A 'GOD' CONCEPT!!

Moreover, we constantly hear from Christians that 'being gay' is something that one chooses. And yet, they also claim from the other side of their mouths that (Christian) THERAPY is required in order to change one's (unchosen) homosexual orientation. Which is it? Why is reparative (?) therapy required to change one's choice?

Thinking out loud: Should not reparative therapy be available/administered to homophobes and bigots (THEY, after all, have 'the problem') more so than a homosexual who is quite contented (if allowed to live unhassled by homophobes and bigots) with being who he/she is?
