I am presently receiving redirects to other sites, from the forums here
I have, my popup blocker on [so, this sort of thing shouldn't occur]
Am now, running, the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool
and Comodo's Antivirus Scan to deal with any 'nasties'
If, they come-up 'clean' then this problem may be an onsite-thing

We have had some issues which made my husband, the computer geek, wonder if CF is having some virus issues. I hope not too.

My machine is CLEAN
and yet I am absolutely positive that I did not click on-adverts

I was redirected to a Blinky site as I clicked on the side scroll bar
and several others, prior to that, whilst waiting for a page update
[offering stuff, once considered lewd and obscene]

I do so hope the site isn't about to go 'down' for a while

Well, I've been having a few slightly weird things happening, but I assumed it was just the computer, or that I'd inadvertently pressed something by mistake.

that is, how I first experienced these things
trying to goto a specific forum
a small window would inform me
that I was being redirected to another site
and with yes or no buttons...pressing NO
wouldn't stop it happening [?]

I just seemed to go directly into other places..I know I DO sometimes press something by mistake,,,but not that often

and also used the side scroll to get to a message
and the 'redirects' came 'out of the blue'
iow: I too, pressed nothing out of the ordinary

Yep...but (for the moment at least) it seems ok. Hopefully remain so.

That too is my experience, these past few hours
but I would remain on my guard
it may be that the problem site is offline at this time
so, to impede it's becoming located

If this trouble repeats, I will contact staff

No burst-bubbles, nothing to forgive, or be prayed for; just simple mis-communications
and
as far as "re-directs to other forums" : never happened to me, either.
(were there an actual CF-bug, more people would have that experience, yes?)

I have never been there before
I don't wish to have this happening on daily basis
I will add, all sites that I am redirected to [in future] to this message

with IE 8 public release browser

I am about to report this site to Microsoft
and will add it to my browsers BLOCKED LIST

CF went down last night... could only get on through a proxy server.
Earlier hubby couldn't log in.

Things seem to be normal today
