About 4500 years actually --- but anyway --- why would that constitute hyper-evolution? What if the Kangaroo itself was on the Ark? Then they got off the Ark, made their way to "Australia" - (which probably wasn't very far away at the time); and the rest you know.

As far as expecting to find a trail of fossils, why would you? Given that every creature on the face of the earth is starting anew, and the fact that there are just a handful of each one --- you're telling me that you're expecting to find a fossil trail? That's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
its just that we have fossil trails for many groups of animal and many of them do not occur in the middle east at all.

the whole handful of each one is another problem but you handwave it away by saying each kind had perfect alleles or something so they didnt succumb to lethal inbreeding depressions.

AV, the ark was supposed to have landed in the Middle East

Australia is a large island many, many miles away, across mountains and oceans

Kangaroos could not possibly have gotten there.

If the continental separation was after the flood, it is no problem!

Oh right, I remember now, there was that place in my Bible where somebody talked about that gigantic shifting of the CONTINENTS, creating thousands of devastating earthquakes and the destruction and death of millions of people

oh wait

"Oh wait" is right Danyc --- science can take a hike.
Numbers 16:31-33 said:
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

No, all the post flooders likely noticed was they started to die faster. They needed a lot of tombs. Heard of Egypt?? They may have noticed a few things, but, fresh after Babel, what were they to do, draw pics? Pics would later come to mean something else, for the most part anyhow. Looking at you guys 'cipher' the past is like looking at Jethro Bodine cipher grade 4 math!

Since the physics of the present was not in play, the slide was a breeze, I would posit. Not much different than standing on a giant rug, slowly pulled a few feet.

Piece of cake.

Happy Christmas.

Well, as long as we're putting this train wreck of a thread back on the rails, I would like to reiterate my own offer:

Post 54
Get your own thread, don't hijack this one.

Rescue it in your own thread, please.

Now, now, AV -- there's plenty of room on this thread for the both of us.

I'm sure anyone who has a question on the Creation will be courteous enough to specify who they want to address it -- I promise to steer clear of any question directed at you.

Now now; Let us all be good people of God (praise be to FSM) and get along like brothers.

Agreed!

If I start a thread, that doesnt make it mine to control and direct.
I sure dont try to tell others that they cant post in my thread!

One person cant hijack a thread, if people dont like the way its going they wont take part.. Conversations go the way they go.
Kinda egotistical for someone to think they own a thread anyway.
