CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ijwts- i watched The Boy in the Bubble with a young John Travolta and mr. Brady from the 70's tonight. Then i looked up info online about the real boy it was based on. He lived a very sad life and didn't live past 12, poor kid. He was basically a guinea pig at the hands of his doctors.

IJWTS I moved this weekend all by myself.. to the 3rd floor and mah body aches like I just finished a 15 mile road march in 100 degree weather with a 60 lb rucksack.
Also, evil prevailed last night. I am sad that the Steelers won the Super Bowl. I mean, they just won it not too long ago and the Cardinals had never even been.
