While I must admit that in the early "pages" of this thread, I felt that there was an over-reaction to KTS's words; it's become clear with the extent of the dialogue that there are two sides to this situation. Clearly KTS wasn't misunderstood as I first thought since there has been no attempt to retract or adjust those words. While I don't think her words are intended to be conflictual, for someone new to the faith they definitely would be read incorrectly and that is a serious concern. To not be open to changing them in order to preserve peace and prevent younger (in faith) person from falling in error borders on defiance and pride.
I personally think this thread shows way too much pride on both sides, but I truly am impressed Benedictoo that you have humbled yourself with apology. It's rare around here and very welcomed.
