Should Christians interact with Gays at all?

Sweetie its you who said you wished you never had to interact with a christian again in your life not me. Its you who say it while purposely coming to a christian forum.

If i didnt like talking to atheists and skeptics and mockers and ranters and wished that i never had to see another one - then this place would be the last forum i would enter on this forum because most rational people who dont want to be somewhere and can do something about it - take the option to do something about it - instead of complaining like they cant do anything about it.

Actually they do because Christians are intolerant of those that disagree with them and then they want control all of those same people.

Where? In the education system you atheists rule with an iron fist. No dissent is allowed ro tolerated. Same thing with your GLBT clubmembers. Christians have hundreds of denominations and many Christians from many denoms interact with each other. You don't get so accepting a environment from the anti-Christians.

This has made many of us who were previously blind to it to sit up and take notice of the awful way Christians are trying to turn the world into a theocracy and we have had enough and want to put an end to it once and for all.

Prove that assertion that "Christians" want to turn the world into a theocracy. Denominations disprove your view completely. What you want to put an end to is anyone being able to oppose your views and your choices forced on them. We Christians have finally awakened to find those declaring a love for tolerance and diversity are really selling a one-way ticket to secular progressive atheism.

See the deal is that god does not exist and those that believe he/she/it does do not get to tell the rest of us what to do and don't worry I do a lot more than come on here, I donate to politicians that support gay rights and a further separation of church and state, I hold fundraisers for the same politicians and I donate large quantities of alcohol to those same politicians and organizations and it will most definitely pay off in the long run.

Since marriage is a holy thing that involves God and God's plan is for a man and a woman... why are atheists and others who don't worship our God allowed to marry? Why aren't you railing on the schools for not telling kids that a Godless marriage isn't a real marriage? It makes no sense to say "Gay's can't marry because it wasn't God's plan" and then say "Well if they don't believe in God they can still marry because at least they're man and woman like it was meant to be from the beginning". It wasn't meant to be that way from the beginning according to the Bible, now was it? Same for couples that are infertile or choose to be child-free. Not having children is a curse according to the Bible. Why do they get to marry? Because they don't have icky buttsex? Oh, wait. Straight couples do that all the time, and other interesting things that would probably melt your brain were they willing to talk about it.

I've never once received a logical answer to this. Perhaps someone can indulge me.

Yep... the last Christian I asked this, refused to answer and then accused me of being a bully, lol. So I have yet to hear an answer on this too. So far any attempts to get a reasonable response to this and other hard questions have been met with the glorious, resounding sound of crickets.

I will tell you why and it is very simple, they already know that they cannot outlaw the aforementioned marriages because the government and people will not go for it so the last bastion they can control is homosexual marriage.

I will tell you why and it is very simple, they already know that they cannot outlaw the aforementioned marriages because the government and people will not go for it so the last bastion they can control is homosexual marriage.

Perhaps, but I've met very few who are even consistent and are willing to say that no, non-Christian marriages are not real marriages according to the Bible and therefore they ought to all be outlawed and dissolved, along with those who cannot or will not produce Godly children.

Most of them either ignore the question entirely or hand wave it away with some BS explanation that doesn't stand up to logic or reason. I could at least respect someone who is consistent.

Where is there a sepration of Church and State ever mentioned in the Constitution? And why aren't the votes of Theists as important as Atheists? Democracy right? A Republic even?

Also, I don't know who you're including in the "you guys" part of your post but I am a Christian, and the God I worship is big enough that some puny humans aren't going to disallow Him from anywhere. Perhaps they might make rules that school employees are not allowed to push any religion, but you're not going to stop a kid from praying. You're not even going to stop a group of kids from getting together to pray, provided they're not disrupting the learning environment or forcing other kids who don't want to join in to join. Any attempts to stop such prayer meetings should be met with swift retribution when the kid comes home and tells Mom and Dad that the principal won't let him and his friends pray before they get on the bus after school. Glad we could put that to rest, I'd hate to have that lie get off the ground in this thread.

FYI, I'm all for kids voluntarily having whatever kind of clubs they wish to in school -- including a Christian or Bible club if they want one. I'm all for kids voluntarily praying in school on their own. Just don't force my kids to do it if they don't want to.

Equal wouldnt be we cant mention God in school work and in the classroom or refuse the right to - equal wouldnt be being forced to recognize gay unions in churches - equal wouldnt be a christian being forced to photgraph a celebration of gay culture against their religious beliefs - equal wouldnt be forcing eharmony ( a once christian singles site) to register gay members -see what you want is the right to demand what we do without care for our religious rights which are suppose be guaranteed by the constitution.
