The more I read the responses of liberal Christians on this board and throughout the country, the more I realize that satan doesn't have to do a thing to lead people to hell. Liberal Christians have usurped his job.

Under the guise of tolerance and fairness, Liberal Christians continue to stand for nothing of Christ, while tacitly and often times blatantly endorsing sin.

Yeah, people have different opinions on what is considered "liberal". What's liberal for some is moderate for others. OP, I'm curious to know what you consider "liberal".

Just a fast observation to share, As I look around this world, I sure haven't seen Fundamentalist Christianity do much of anything to save the earth. In fact, as I see the wars, famine, the trashed ecology, the homeless, those with no medical help, it's pretty clear that they aren't doing a very good job at all.

Tongue and cheek of course...what would destroy America 1st are those who stick their head in the sand when faced with issues such as poverty etc.

Some of evil liberal Christians attempt to face those issues-rather than blame the homeless person or the person living in poverty.

It sounds as if you are angry with some actual people in your vicinity, who could do more than they do, and whose complacency is leading to hardship, perhaps for you or those you know.

Speaking as a liberal Christian, I'm more than happy to stand for Christ, I do my best to follow Him daily, and have no interest in blatantly or tacitly endorsing sin. In addition to which, Christ has called me to be an evangelist, so the last thing I'd want to do is lead people to hell. Quite the opposite in fact.

And I do believe you're letting your bias show with the thread title. Why on earth - even if liberal Christianity does have such a terrible effect as you suggest - should the USA be the first to be destroyed? It's just another nation. There's nowt special about it.

I'm a liberal Christian and I do NOT endorse sin. Telling people to better themselves FIRST before pointing fingers/judging OTHERS isn't the same thing. BTW, I think we're still waiting on examples and your definition of liberal Christianity.

Is murder via abortion a sin? - You could make an argument here one way or another. The ethics of the argument is much deeper than most Christians I've met know.
Is God ordained marriage between one man and one woman? - I think so, yes.
Is it sexually immoral to have sex outside of God ordained marriage? - I think so, yes.
Is it okay for unmarried couples to live together? - As long as they aren't having sex.
Is Jesus Christ the only way to God? - Absolutely, yes.
Will everyone be saved or will some go to hell? - I currently have difficulty understanding that some will go to hell; at least, hell as traditionally understood.
