It used to be called WWF in which the "F" stood for Federation. They had to change their name to the WWE because they were sued by the World Wildlife Federation for copyright infringement. The Wildlife people thought people might get the two confused. Don't ask me how, I had no idea there was any other WWF than the one owned by Vince McMahon.
I know the history of it. But there is a reason they went with "Entertainment" instead of "League" (WWL) or "Association" (WWA) or something along those lines.
A bit of a change of subject...
In your opinion, which major sport requires it's players to be the most athletic?

There's a lot of stuff that goes with being involved in a sport that the fan just never sees. Alot of behind the scenes stuff that requires great stamina and physical conditioning. Just being "on the road" requries someone to be in shape. Travelling itself is a very draining experience and if you're not in shape, it's really really bad. It's really hard to say, cuz each sport is demanding in its own way. But then most sports have an off-season too, where the athlete can heal from injuries and recuperate. The professional wrestler doesn't have that perk.
