So how is Palin qualified to be Prez?

Palin was on the Wasilla, Alaska, city council from 1992 to 1996; she was the mayor of Wasilla from 1996 to 2002; she chaired the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from 2003 to 2004; she was the governor of Alaska fom November 2006 to 2008; and she will have been Vice President of the United States from January 2009 to ___. These positions have qualified her to be the President of the U.S.

Another Obama gaffe:

"If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily."

Her biggest completed political accomplishment is to be mayor of a town that has fewer people than those riding the subways in NYC right this very second? Then she became governor in part by having a Pro Bridge platform then flip-flopped after elected? So we have someone with less experience than Obama, flip-flops like Kerry, and couldn't survive two years as governor without having 13 people, including her husband, get supbeoned for an investigation of abusing power?

Here's a pic of her holding up a pro-bridge t-shirt during the governor's race

If Obama picked a Veep nominee with these same credentials who didn't know what the Bush Doctrine is would we be seeing these same apologetics attempts? She has absolutely no Federal experience and doesn't have a clue about foreign policy.

If she'd been the governor of California, it still wouldn't be enough...

Maybe if she had been a community organizer and a Senator she would be considered "ready" to be President.

Enough for her to know the Bush Doctrine isn't Bush's "world view" as she stated? Maybe not.

By who? By the above resume approval she doesn't need to have any Federal experience or even be honest about her own campaign platform. Ironically, I have a tad more respect for her than obama because she hasn't sold out people who supported her for twenty years. Then again, let's see if the media hounds her about her extremist church views and see how she reacts in a similar situation. Both are inexperienced and both are flip-floppers but I don't see McCain beating obama because the Nation is tired of the neocon/CR flavor and they are not going to go for that again. Not to mention the new voters obama's campaign will bring out. His campaign is being run similar to Gov Patrick's and he won here in MA in part of new voters. Our Party needs to listen to what many Conservatives have been saying about this Liberal agenda or it will continue giving up DC seats out of sheer stubborness.

So who will you be voting for RealDealNeverstop? If you don't support Obama and you don't support Palin, who do you support in this election?

I think it is wise to follow the guidelines of responding to posts and not making it about posters. Thank you.

Also, it's a complete non-sequitur to bring up Obama because his qualifications, or lack thereof, have no bearing on Palin. I don't support either for basically the same reasons.

...and you stated that you weren't supporting either one. I just was curious as to who it was that you were supporting. If you don't want to answer that's fine.

The Bush Doctrine would be part of Bush's world view.

That is correct but unfortunately that isn't the definition she stated because she did not say "It is part of his world view." Putting words in her mouth only shows the extent an argument must be stretched too for even a feeble attempt of Palin apologetics.

Going over the link you posted, I notice that funds were distributed somewhat evenly between republicans and democrats

Adding the total figures from the top 25, democrats received 55% and republicans received 45%. Certainly not as one-sided as we were led to believe.

Good day.
Dear, you must keep in mind that obama was only there accepting lobbyist funds for what, a touch more than 2 years as opposed to what, 25 for some of the others, and he comes that close to the top? Yup, thanks for giving us another look at this.

BTW, I just noticed there is a Dem safehouse. I had not seen it till now, I thought others may have been missing it too.

I went to Yellowstone park once. There were signs there about not feeding the bears, it only encourages them to stay around longer.

Onto more important matters:

For a lot of employers, the discovery that a job candidate has padded his resume can be a deal breaker. In this, as in so many other places, what’s true generally seems less applicable to the democrat's elite:

This explains why that whole “community organizer” gig seemed like a step up.

OK, when did the SAFE HOUSE get invaded???

As for Houston...in some areas it is ok in other no. HOWEVER...there is hardly any food, water, or gas for the entire metro which is basically the size of LA.

The panic has set in and FEMA is WORTHLESS. Rick Perry told FEMA to get out of our way and let us get our State back.

AS for emotionally and mentally, NONE of us are well...none

I read that yesterday. Interesting stuff...and from a guy who supports Obama. It seems a number of co-workers had the same impression of him, that is, aloof and arrogant.

How many others have been the Dem Prez candidate? I thought FM and FMac were non-profit orgs...and I thought those outfits couldn't contribute to campaigns?
