Relay for Life

Relay for Life is a wonderful program. I am sending YOU blessings Cassie- to support this thread. I have supported RFL in the past (financially) but have never had the experience of being involved.

My grandmother died of cancer in 1991. This was one of the most devistating times for me. She was one of the most wonderful people I knew.

Then, in 2006- on Mother's Day- my best friend died of breast cancer. She left behind 3 children, and it was awful for everyone involved.

Thank you for bringing this topic into focus. I hope it raises awareness for a worthy cause.

In recognition of the start of the Relay for Life season I made this fellowship. Relay for Life is a charitable event for the American Cancer Society. Teams set to walk or run a track for twenty four hours. This thread is to pay recognition and honor survivors , patients, and care givers. It is also to remember those who lost their battle with cancer. Relays are held through out the United States.
