prayers for Starr71 - her mother's funeral is today

I had made this request before when the thread started,
however anybody feels about it, I'm asking for heavy prayer
for Patrick Swayze with his battle with cancer.

I saw recent pix of him in the Tabloid at the store and he
had lost a ton of weight and looks poor.
It breaks my heart, and I think he's buddhist. I pray God
is able to reach his heart and lead him to seek salvation
in Christ.
And hopefully for a huge miracle in healing his cancer.

I hate cancer, I hate what it does to people and families. But you are right, even more important is his salvation. I am praying first and foremost for that. May God be glorified--may he taste and see the goodness of the Lord, which brings to repentance, Romans 2:4.

Father, we cry out together for You to move in Mr. Swayze's life! Father, touch him. Open his eyes to see, his ears to hear, his heart to understand. Father, draw him to You. Let him taste and see Your goodness. Father, we pray in faith believing, knowing Your goodness and thanking You for it, in Jesus' name.

Praise report about Nathan. They got the tests back for cystic fibrosis...negative

Still keep him in your prayers. They are trying to find out why he fails to thrive. He will undergo a biopsy later this month.
