Congratulations on demonstrating how little you know about the scientific method and the fallacy of circular reasoning.

I will explain how what you did was circular reasoning. I asked you how you knew that the Bible was wholly factual and the the way to settle all discussion. You answered this by quoting the Bible. In short, your argument was essentially 'the Bible is right because it says it is right'.

That is circular reasoning and it is a nonsensical argument.

Evidence is a wholly human term. Evidence is something that humans use to verify or falsify an assertion, claim or hypothesis. Evidence happens to play the leading role in the scientific method and consequently, is the basis for science.

Do you know what science is, AV? Science is the sum total of human knowledge relating to our understanding of natural phenomena. Scientists engage in discerning what is true through observation of natural phenomena, experimentation of natural phenomena and the testing of hypothesis. Science is a self-correcting pursuit of knowledge, when sciences update its understanding, it is updated on the basis that the new knowledge supersedes previous understanding.

The scientific method is a progressive and self-correcting pursuit of understanding the universe we live in. Science assumes nothing, but strives to understand everything. Science claims no infallibility, but through self-correction concedes error and the virtue that the truth is more important than falsehood. You claim to hold science up to a higher standard than scientists - but this is demonstrably false. You just assume that Genesis is true on the basis that you trust in the Bible. This is totally and utterly unscientific. Science seeks to discover the answers whilst you assume they are already there.
