I'm not sure I like not being able to see who is online and here at the forum.

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

See Happy, I didn't even know you were here before you posted! It just feels weird. We could be here all by ourself and not even know it.

Maybe showing all the names of people in the forum was part of the reason the servers got so bogged down?

You know why? I'm stalling.

I have a big test coming up and every time I think about it I get sick to my stomach (literally) and I get a mental block. I seriously do NOT want to take it!
I've been making flashcards for the last few days and pretty much been stuck at the computer.
I have one week left to prepare for it so I'm going to start studying on Saturday night. I can't print the flashcards I've made because my handy dandy printer died on me on Wednesday.
A moment of silence please.

Thanks. I need it. I have an excellent GPA, so this test is the only thing standing between me and Nursing school.
I KNOW I'll be a good nurse and I know I am a fast learner, but it's a lot of pressure to know that ONE test could make me have to hold off for an entire year.
I'm afraid of succeeding which is what it all boils down to I think. Not studying is just a self-fulfilled prophecy honestly.
