Even though I don't post nearly as much as I used to in the SDA forum, I still come here from time to time to see what's going on.
What I am seeing is the usual thing, of course. That is, the Trads are Still battling the Progs.
Here is what I have observed in more detail...
The Progs:
1. Certain Progs are coming in here to challenge the Trads, and thus provoke them to debate.
2. Certain Progs don't want the Trads in their forum; yet, they don't want to stay out of this one.
3. Certain Progs have been taking posts from this area and posting them in their area to tear them apart.
The Trads:
1. Certain Trads have been going over to the Prog area while knowing that the welcome there for Trads is not warm.
2. Certain Trads don't want Progs to debate in this forum, but they don't mind arguing with them in theirs.
My question for you is why would you play into this snare? The devil is obviously trying to get everyone to turn aside from the right path by inducing them to fight with each other.
How could you ever hear the voice of God while spending so much time arguing, or to put it more plainly, yelling at each other?
My advice to you is to stay out of the Progs forum. Don't even associate with them.
And if they come in here to try to stir up trouble just ignore them. Life is so much better when you aren't constantly defending what you believe against people who could care less about you. And that is the truth.
There is no doubt that certain people have been harassing you. Do not even give those people a second look. Their childish tantrums are not even worth your time, because it is not possible to pacify them. It is not possible to pacify them because they refuse to act like adults and treat people with respect, as mature people often do.
Again, just stay away from those who are trying to hurt you. Don't even talk about them. It's not your job to defend yourself against the attacks of Satan. It's the role of the Holy Spirit to defend you. Don't fight with them. Just simply encourage each other in the ways of the Lord and let Jesus take you where you need to be in relation to Him.
