hi! i'm from wisconsin too, but currently studying in florida.

it's a small town named randolph, about 45-50 min north of madison. you probably haven't heard of it, but you might have heard of waupun (prison town where i go to school... speaking of prisons, did anyone hear about the hostage crisis in the prison in waupun? that was my aunt!) or beaver dam (where i work).

did anyone go to either uw milwaukee, uw oshkosh, or uw green bay? i'm considering going back there next semester but i don't know alot about those schools.

I PMed you...I went to UWGB for a year and loved it. I know many people who enjoyed Oshkosh as well, and while Milwaukee has many program advantages, it is similar to Milwaukee with it's party scene - I should know having partied there a lot ages 16-18. . LC, and Eau Claire are nice campuses too.

Yeah, Oshkosh seems to be a pretty big party school. I'm a student at UW-La Crosse, though, and I love it there!

I went to Pardeeville High School. Our school is huge rivals with Randolph High School. They are amazingly good in basketball and beat us every year but we always crushed them in football haha. Our schools pretty much hate each other. Come to think of it, the Christian school in Waupun was in our conference too.

People of Wisconsin... I need to ask a question. My sister goes to Valpo, and was telling me that this girl from Wisconsin was saying something about how in Wisconsin they use the hand to point out where they are from. The girl went on to say that Wisconsin can be accurately represented on the hand. My sister (Being from michigan) said "That's how we show where we're from in Michigan" The other girl said "How on Earth does michigan look like a hand?? It is CLEARLY Wisconsin!"

So... help me here. I think the girl was feeding her a line. Is this true?

& working gradually south till I hit Miami

I woulda been an almost spittin' distance neighbour if I'd emigrated to Decatur IL 4/5 years ago - to help an outreach to all the major music etc festivals, spring to fall, via mobile catering concessions

& @ regional Christian TV & radio stations' outside broadcast depts, doing my many voices

But hey, now I'm kinda retired, who knows what doors God may choose to open?
