He just left the campaign yesterdayWhere is HE the spiritual advisor for the campaign? And surely then you can give me an example where the Pastor has clearly influenced Obama to where we should worry politcially?
In "some sort" unstated aint good enough.
The Reverend Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose remarks on Aids and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks have sparked controversy, is no longer formally tied to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign, an Obama spokesman said late yesterday.
Wright, Obama's longtime spiritual adviser and pastor of his Chicago church, was off Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee as of last night, said campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor, who didn't elaborate. The move follows calls for Obama to sever connections to Wright after news outlets began airing some of the pastor's past sermons.
Not sure what this has to do with anything. You'll always find a few far-left water carriers, whether it's for Farrakhan or Wright . It's the white version of the Self Loathing Jew. The Obama campaign can release all of these they want. It DOES NOT LESSEN THE HATRED in 'Reverend' Wright's speeches. Those aren't going away, IT, and all the mousy white ladies whining about 'how nice they were treated' at Trinity won't change that. Wright's speeches are the truth about Obama's Spiritual Advisor,...not this sad attempt at damage control.SHOCKING video... from a white minister who attended Obama's church... see the horrendous truth-
Interesting that she called the preaching at the church "prophetic". So in her views, the sermons which Obama has now vehemently condemned are actually prophetic sermons which means that she believes Obama is condemning God. Wouldn't that make him antichrist, according to her?Not sure what this has to do with anything. You'll always find a few far-left water carriers, whether it's for Farrakhan or Wright . Thanks for the link, tho. It was good entertainment for the next 5 minutes until SNL comes on. President McCain, what?
You heard prophetic I heard pathetic and what I heard I agreed with.Interesting that she called the preaching at the church "prophetic". I can’t understand how Jane Fisler Hoffman can say the Rev. Wright’s sermons and his church are warm, loving and welcoming and the church is love filled. Perhaps she along with Barack Obama was not in church those days. However she can also see how the world at large is having a hard time swallowing that.SHOCKING video... from a white minister who attended Obama's church... see the horrendous truth-

Citing wiggle room in an obscure, 26-year-old Democratic Party rule, Hillary Clinton's campaign is leaving the door open to the idea of attempting to persuade Barack Obama's pledged delegates to switch their votes at the last minute and back the New York senator . . .

Here's hoping they don't I've always hoped Obama got the vote, he's so much more beatable than HRC.Michael Isikoff in Newsweek:
The pitch to Obama's pledged delegates will be Rev Wright makes Obama unelectable.
The Clintons may not even have to make that pitch. It will probably be obvious soon enough.
If Obama does get past Hillary, it's pretty much over. Have you seen the size of the Democratic turnouts here lately? That is not because of Hillary, that is because of Obama and most of those voters are young, energized, tired of seeing the status quo, and can give a rats you know what about the need to have the right faith, church, and Pastor. Here's hoping they don't I've always hoped Obama got the vote, he's so much more beatable than HRC.
Here's video of Obama on his pastor, at the the Hampton Minister Conference-
"I've got to give a special shout-out to my pastor, the guy who puts up with me, counsels me, listens to
my wife complain about me. He's a friend, and a great leader. Please everybody give an extraordinary
welcome to my pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr. ...Where he at? -There he is! That's him right there!"

And the answer should be "I disagree with that message."I'm sorry but if Obama brings a man onto his campaign staff as spiritual advisor, and that man preaches the motto "Go Damn America", then Obama has to answer for the pastor's words.
And he has, not that you deserve one. I can't take someone who frequents Stormfront seriously when they discuss supposed racism. You're right. He should have to answer for the pastor's words.http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,337308,00.html
If he provided solid spiritual advice, I'd certainly take it.Actually, it means his spiritual adviser holds these views. Is this the guy you'd want advising your spiritual life?
Actually, we seem to be doing pretty freaking well with the shot we're taking. Since, y'know, we're winning. Some advice, Dannager- go with the 'he just joined a church to win some of the religious vote' defense. It's the best shot you have.
Obama recently explained the situation fully to the editorial board of some Chicago papers, including the Tribune - a Republican paper. Apparently they were completely satisfied with the answers. <staff edit>What a glorious day. Rezko confesses to giving Obama more than 250,000 in campaign contributions. HAHAHAHA Obama mania is dead. Let the swift boating begin. Yeah.
