CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not sure how to spell Pavloff but he did this experiment with dogs where he would ring a bell and then feed them steak ( can't actually remember what they fed them). So after a 1000 times of doing this , they tryed ringing the bell and not giving the dog anything...
Besides stressing the poor dog out... They actually measured the physical response of the dog. It salivated and responded as though it was eating steak even though there was no steak....

Now this cheers me up... Yes. God spoke to me about Pavlovian response theory.. How random is that ? But this just goes to show how God can use even our secular education to speak to us....

Anyway , so God mentions to me about this other research that I read about and can't remember the people involved but I read an article. It is about how physical pathways are formed in our brains by thought patterns...
Basically they are talking about conditioned response , but in this case instead of just habits it is thought patterns....
