Norma Jean is a classic band that you've gotta know & respect. I think they've done a lot for "southern rock" and hard music within the Christian scene.
Also they actually do have their own site apart from myspace, and they're also on purevolume.

Their 2nd and third albums are classics, from what I've heard. Always enjoyed them... never took a likening to their first stuff though. Pathetic screamer (I'll get killed for saying this

Well I enjoyed "O, God The Aftermath" and "Reedemer" (O' God...is probably my favorite of the two). From what I heard and experienced their 1st album had a better more brutal, chaotic sound that I liked better. Some good music, but generic and nothing that new.

i disagree, they were more like Classical mistakes to me, The First Album was the best, its Sad, because Norma Jean Has died Vocally since then, because the first Vocalist could hold on longer in screams than the guy now...the guy now doesnt even scream...he shouts roughly and dryly, the old Norma Jean had this Creepy feeling to it, which is what made them good, not popularity or a major lable or a new screamer, i will say that some of the New stuff is Good, but nowhere as good as the old stuff.Their 2nd and third albums are classics, from what I've heard.
