Seajoy, look! We're supposed to have high temps and snow meltage until Thursday (at least in this pleasent corner of the state)! Quick, let's escape before it snows on Thursday; otherwise we might be stuck till April!

I was in your neck of the woods today, picking up some folks that flew in for Christmas. It was nice and sunny.
On my way home, the temps read 29 degrees. Ahhhh, a heat wave!

*whew* 2 Christmas programs in 3 days (I was hostess for the Sunday School one and then tonight, they only had one lady, another cancer patient and a good friend, "working" and we had about 400 people there! So I helped out.), lots of present wrapping and card writing, package sending and present buying (just figured out what to get for my Dad!) and I'm BEAT.

But I wanted to come in and say hai to everyone and see what was going on with you all.

Hope everyone's being good...Santa will be here soon you know!

I remember the mom saying some thing like that in the movie "The Christmas Story" when the kid wanted a BB gun.

I remember when I was a kid when us guys went into the woods for a BB gun fight. We all knew that they were dangerous if we shot at close range so we decided to stand far enough away so we supposedly couldn't hurt each other. I took aim an allowed for elevation, windage and earth rotation and got off a round. Next thing we heard was a chain of expletives. Seems like a BB hit Jack right between the eyes. He still wears the indentation today some 50 years later. We decided that it was safer to shot a tin cans from there on out.
