I have no idea how you could come to the conclusion that I am falling for it, I am warning against it. Did you read the op?

Meaning you're taking it seriously... hence, falling for it.

Remember, for a celeb like Oprah, there's no such thing as bad press. She gains as much from you railing against her as she does if you were to support her... probably more.

My concern is for fence sitters that are not well grounded in their theology and may fall for this strong delusion. Remember the millions of people that she holds sway over.

Again, are we talking her theology, or her endorsement of Obama? She may conflate the two, and you may not be able to separate them, but I have no difficulty seeing the two issues as just that... two issues.

As I said, Oprah is a celebrity endorsing a political candidate... that's what they do, everyone from actors to authors to even porn stars are coming out in support of the people they want to win, and using their celebrity status as a means to that end.

That this celebrity's theology is way out in left field makes her different... how, exactly?

I am taking it seriously, but I am 'not' falling for it. This is an absurd jump in logic.

I am taking it serious because she has so many people in the fold, like you, that find no problem with teaching heresy while wrapped up in politics. Have you not heard that there will be a one world religion, this is the beginning of the end for this apostasy.

'this' celebrity 'is different' because no other celebrity is promoting a new age christ that is not Jesus, by her own admission.

You created an issue where none was before... giving Oprah, and to a lesser degree, Obama, exactly what they wanted... free publicity.

Because now everyone and their cousin is going to look into the matter just to find out what all the brouhaha's about... And many of them might find Oprah's ideas quite interesting.

You've probably sold her a few extra books... I'm sure she thanks you.

I'm afraid Oprah is not the only... nor even the most outrageous... celeb with wacky spiritual beliefs.

But suppose I don't want to be plain? Oprah is a celeb endorsing a politician. Oprah is a celeb with a spirituality which sounds like it came off a cereal box.

Neither of these things are all that uncommon... You say these things are related... I remain unconvinced.
