Thanks Cathy. I am really blessed because my mom and dad do like to spend time with me and we do a lot of things together. This was a great reminder for me though, because there are times when I'm not quite as eager to hang out with them as they'd like....It would seem you and your dear parents get along real well.
And that you do indeed spend both quality and quantity time together.............Thought I would post it to bring home the importance of both quality and quantity time...
Thank you.To Daffodilly:
We come from different countries with different cultures and norms. But, what I would like to share with you is something I have learned when I was your age.
It mattered what you choose, what you believe is important, what you think is right. It is in these formative years that a young lady like you, builds her foundation, principles, faith... As for me, growing in faith, having the support of your family, friends are key things to have a healthy spiritual life...
As it is somewhat a must to keep a very fit physical appearance in your years, spiritual health is the defining key. What is a fit/attractive body worth if your spirit is weak? Priorities change as you grow old, but one thing should never change in your list of priorities, your Number One Priority..and I believe that you know what that is (rather Who He is)... Keep it (rather Him) on the top of your list and all else will be added unto you, as the scripture says...
Thanks, MN John!My advice for you at 16 ... always try to convince yourself that parent's aren't as weird/crazy as they seem!
And don't be in too much of a rush to get this:
The second bit might be easier than the first......
