For those non-Indians who feel they have a burden for the Indian: The "white-man's burden" has consistently made things worse for American Indian people. You may be thinking that what you are feeling inside is different. I hope it is. Are you willing to help without seeking to control? Are you willing to listen before you speak? Are you willing to observe before you ask questions? Are you willing to acknowledge the neediness of your own people and of your own self as well as the neediness or "plight" of the Indians? Are you willing to acknowledge that the healing of your people and the healing of other peoples, including American Indian peoples, is intricately bound together? Are you willing to understand that healing for Indian peoples does not mean Indian people becoming more like you? Are you willing to lay aside the idols of civil religion and denominational or religious dogma that you may hear the voice of the Spirit and act on what you hear?

Also, thank you for the wonderful guestbook note. In case you have not guessed it yet, I am a wolf--as they are faithful mates for life, live in family groups, watch the babies of the family all together, are very playful, and females are affectionate toward one another!

I have been here for many moons and I have yet to come up against such an accusation, which each of you know is truly unfounded and unfair. Please help me get through this, and please help me stand against this unfair accusation. Please pray for me.

I could not believe it myself. I am still dumbstruck!

Thank you, my dear friend. I am so tired I can hardly see straight. This incident could not come at a worse time while my beloved Three Hawks is not at home. I need him to lean on. I have much work to get done around the house today, plus teaching my children. I feel I have no strength left in me. I do find comfort in my L-rd and Saviour though. I remember his words, "love your enemy, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." I cannot speak for anyone else, but for me, it is difficult to turn the other cheek. But my Jesus asked the Father to forgive those around him while he was suffering and dying on the cross. Who am I to do any differently? Please continue to pray for me throughout this day and the days to come.

Lord, I have entered into "Your Rest" for now let us see You Lord, Our Strength and now I can do "All" things" through Christ Jesus the Lord, thy Son the Hope of Glory who "Strengthens" me, by Your Spirit within me;

Take this "Strength" and I give today to GigageiTsula and all my Brothers and Sisters who's strength may be weak and the heart's are weary... For We shall mount on the Wings of Eagles... Thy Holy Spirit, Our Lord and Saviour!
