No I am not going against scripture, you just don't know how to rightly divide the word of God. And you may have lied for "good" reasons, but you have still lied for nothing but personal gain. You are just minimizing your crime. Have you ever hated someone? Well, you are a murderer at heart. Yes, it's still adultery if everyone consents.

Oh and Chris, this isn't a flame. Your god is a monster. He torments people forever for breaking any little rule. That is not justice; to be justice the punishment must fit the crime. In the eyes of your god a man who tells a white lie is just as bad as a mass murderer. You worship an evil, vile god.

Of course the world can be a scary place. However, there is not only evil in this world. Anyone who thinks there is only evil is just as blind as someone who chooses to always ignore the evil. It is not black and white, both good and evil exist within this world - that is not just a thought, it is reality.

Of course there is good in the world. God is still active in the world. But God is the only one doing anything good. Correct, you can not unsave yourself. It's impossible. Why are you offended if I say you were never a Christian? Wouldn't you have rather never been one in the first place? I am just telling you what scriptures say. Scripture is not illogical.

You should try to back up what you say with proof (hint, the Bible only counts as proof once you have proven the Bible as true..), otherwise, why should any of us believe you? You give us no reason to.

That, and your attitude here really turns people away even more.. do you consider that? Do you think about the best way to approach a non-Christian? Do you realize that we do not believe in the Bible as you do (or yet again, we'd be Christian) so these arguments don't have a whole lot of weight? That accusing us of all sorts of things, just maybe, is not the best way to go?

Absolutely not. Either he wouldn't be omniscent, because he wouldn't know who was going, or he wouldn't be omnipotent, because he didn't just stop people from going there. Either way, that makes him the antithesis of omnibenevolent - read evil - for condemning his children to eternal torture.

Well you of course realize you are calling God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit a liar? It is not God's obligation to make sure no one goes to hell. God did it anyway, but it's up to them to make that decision. He knows exactly who is going to hell. Therefore, he is omniscent. He is omnipotent, because they deserve to go to hell. And not everyone is a child of God. The Bible makes it very clear they are children of the devil.

The seven deadly sins is a Catholic thing. You will not find that anywhere in scripture. I don't interpret the Bible, it speaks for it's self. Only those wishing the Bible to say what it doesn't say have to interpret it.
