Actually, no, I don't think they do understand that...the specifics of that are in the New Testament. They have Daniel but that doesn't say anything about the guy in the temple claiming to be God.

Welcome to the millenium. It has begun (by all accounts). Jesus is about to return.

There will be a Temple. There will be sacrifices in it according to Ezek 43. The church will be gone to their heavenly home where our citizenship is in the New Jerusalem.

Love is our sacrifice that God wants, not dead animals....plus there is no flesh in the Millennium....nothing to sacrifice...what you think is physical flesh in the Millennium and temples in the Millennium, is actually symbology...used to point you to those things of old....symbolic...

What I'm saying is the 3rd millenium since Christ's birth has begun. It is roughly 2007, after all. In fact, the Ethiopians just celebrated the year 2000 in September. (THey were keeping their own count of the years since Christ) So, whether it is 2000 years or 2007 years since the birth of Christ, the Bible makes it clear that Christ will return on the morning of the 3rd day both in Exodus 19, the Good Samaritan parable and other places.

SO, by all accounts, it is officially the morning of the 3rd day or the beginning of the 3rd millenium since Christ came to earth.

As far as the New Jerusalem coming to earth, that happens at the end of the 1000 years when there is no more death after the Great White Throne judgment.

Look up! He's coming!
