She was about 65 at the time. There was about 10 years difference in age between
Sarah and Abraham and he was 75 I believe at the time that God told him to go to Canaan.

she was old & the Pharaoh wanted her? I hadn't realized her age... how old was she?? :|

:hug:Sister, you crack me up! lol

(There sure can be extremes on both sides of the fence.
humble isn't necessarily homely hahaha)

(that is sad about those silicone injections....eek! They would probably say "every rose has its thorn" ROFL!)
LOL Redeemed! :p :p :p

Well I keep in mind that there are different types of "humble"... there's Amish Prairie Dress humble (buttons are sinful), then there's burlap sack humble (I'm cheap and we keep the lights off) and then there's contemporary/modern humble without being obnoxiously flashy:eek: (I'm 50 but want to relive my teens again).

3. Add the Chief Command to love one another as the Vision for this site.

This should be #1, imo.

4. Non-Christians may moderate the Debate and Support areas only, but may not be promoted beyond SuperModerator.

I think we should add "friendship" to that and also permit non-Christians as forum-specific (non-category) mods in other areas.

9. Remove the JW and LDS forums.

I'll be honest, I'm not too keen on this. Why not just leave them in an unorthodox category?

Just a few thoughts...

Hi Lel,
They are not listed in any particular order, although, it is probably a good idea to do that at the end. As for JW's and Mormons, I think the idea is that they should simply not be labeled as Christians. They aren't. I agree that non-Christian mods could be in the Friendship area.

Does anyone have any worries or concerns about non-Christian mods in the Friendship areas?

Can't imagine there would be any. :)

As for labeling JWs and Mormons as Christian, I wonder if there's perhaps a way to be hospitable and perhaps move the congregational forums to an "other religions" area. It's just kind of nice being able to talk to people with other beliefs without the snark level of the LDS theology area.

I couldn't agree more. I have no problem with LDS, JW, Universalist and Atheists having their own forums with their own rules. I do have a problem with calling them "Christian". People should be able to discuss with them but not allowed to be rude and flamey.

This forum has oversight and needs to be given a chance. I disagree with doing anything with that.
Bill is there a list of who is involved in the oversight, the friends of the forum and the 'black sheep' club that is publicly available on the board?

The LDS and JW congregationals are already in a separate area of the site, labeled "Non-Nicene".
