Socializing with Braticus

I've got 3 vacations planned between now and next July. Going to Las Vegas over Christmas with my buddy. We are going to see Van Halen, who is back touring with David Lee Roth.

Then, I am going to Florida in March to visit my friends from when I lived there. This one is not set in stone, but it most likely going to happen.

Finally, in June, I am going to Cabo San Lucas for 10 days.

I am pretty excited.

My other 'vacation' is my plans in April to go and see Phantom of the Opera. That's about all I've got planned.

Well, I am lucky. My parents pay all of their lumber/electrician/plumbing bills for the construction company on their business card. They then pay the bill off that month from the construction account, so they pay no interest but rack up massive frequent flyer miles.

So, I have free airfare on all 3 trips. The trip to vegas, my buddy has a free suite that his parents booked there, so I just have to pay for my concert/food/entertainment.

The trip to Florida, I just get to stay with friends. All I will have to pay for there is food and entertainment.

Cabo San Lucas, my best friend has a time share there, so I am staying there for free as well. Just paying food and entertainment again.

So, if it weren't for this, I wouldn't be able to afford all of these trips. But, I am not one to turn down a free trip. I have to buy food and entertainment at home, so I might as well do it somewhere cool.

Last Christmas, a guardian of one of the kids i worked with at my old school blessed me with a trip to Hawaii with him and his family. I have been really lucky.

As for myself, I've got a migraine again today! Really getting sick of having one. I was hoping that it was over! But apparently not!


esseJ...yes I did decide on a holiday. My brother and I are going on a fall camping trip in November. I'm very excited. We'll take lots of pictures and I'll post some after we get back.

Sorry you have another migraine! I get them as well - I wish I had some miracle cure for you but unfortunately I don't...

Van Halen ? Now that goes back a bit.

Yes, yes it does. But I have been a big Van Halen fan for many years. And the fact Roth is with them again makes it even better.

I saw Styx and Def Leppard last month. I enjoy seeing some of the older bands. I like most of them better than a lot of the modern stuff.

Come to FL!! I live 10 minutes from the beach. Orlando is only about an hour away - with great shopping and the Blue Man show at Universal!!!

My sister, her friend, and I are taking a girls weekend next month. We're going to Orlando overnight, staying in a nice hotel, getting spa services, and shopping 'til we drop! We did it in January and had so much fun, we decided to do it again!

I am supposed to go to upstate NY in December for a long weekend, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to afford it this year. Maybe I'll go up for my bday in January if I can afford it then.

I also want to take a trip to the FL Keys soon. I haven't been down there in years and I love it there. I want to swim with the dolphins.
