  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Absolutely not! My place is clean, and always has been. I just don't cover my hands in anti-bacterial cream. I wash my dished with just soap, not anti-bacterial soap. I played in the barn with the dust and the mites as a child. You don't have to use anti'bacterial stuff to make things 'clean'. People 50 years ago didnt' have it and they were healthier than we are today, not to mention that people 200 years ago were doing just fine without it. I can't see any good in it and want no part of it. Everyone has their things, this is one of mine.

What wood? We're like in the deserts of Camp Pendleton, I suppose I could use a part of my rack, or my furniture

She's in Canada, I'm in the midwest, we have some slow burning woods we can find for you. . .

And I mean really slow burning wood!

Don't worry Braticus we have plenty of trees still.

Before this area was settled by the Europeans it was like one giant forest. Fortunutly they left some of the tree's still standing.

We never had any here. There has always been buck brush and a few little outcroppings of burch and aspen, but that is all. Everything else was planted by the settlers and those who have resided here since. My mother is a good gardener and has a large selection of trees in her town lot...lets see if I can get a good pic of that...
