  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone got plans for the weekend? I'm really hoping to do some laundry, landlord is supposed to be bringing me a different washer, hope this one works!!!!
Tonight- sleep.
Friday- laundry and shopping! I <3 to shop.
Saturday- David's football game. They are 2-1. The one loss was due to an interception in overtime. Poor kids. They played so hard.
Saturday night- work 2300-0700.

That's my weekend!

Friday: Religion Class midterm(Better study) Math Class
Go home and read Voltaire:Candide, try and start the take home quiz for history. Probably browse these boards and maybe play some Wild Arms 5.
Saturday: Same work as before, but also working on my resarch proposal for english class. I'll probably do some messing around w/ the nunchucks as well.
Sunday: Church, if I stick around after church i'll be @ youth group(I'm kinda old for it, aren't I?) then work on English research proposal after getting opinions from my sunday school teacher and my pastor. (I'm thinking about the paper topic being religious persecution. (of christians) ) If I do stick around, i'm bringin some books to read for class.

Sounds like a busy life, but yet I still need a job and friends.

Wait you are suppose to log out? I just X out the screens and shut my computer down.
Well, I guess it's just personal preference, and it's there for a reason, so I like to use it.

yeah i never log out ... its not healthy :p

Actually, I usually feel a lot better after a log-out. Sometimes I take something to read, or listen to my Mp3 player too.^_^

Yes...I made a terrible mess of the kitcken. I stained teh counter-top purple from teh grape juice for the jelly. But when I was all finished I bleached my entire kitchen. :p So there! It was clean before I went to bed, I can't sleep with a messy kitchen.

Did you use actual grapes? Elaborate please!;)

Actually it's better to clean with an open flame, that way you disinfect as well.

Right, I really wanted to burn down my house! That sounds like a GREAT idea!...NOT! Silly boy!

Now that you've mastered jelly, perhaps napalm would make a good challenge for you, seeing as you're already so accomplished in the kitchen.

I'm sure your neighbours would like some...:holy:

Awww Sweetness your Saturday isn't much fun is it now? :(

Not exactly, but I am rejoicing anyhow. We're going to "view" her today. I don't know what the point of it is, but I'm going 'cause some of my dad's family will be there. I loved my grandma and I'm sad because I don't have her around anymore, but...I'm happy for her. I haven't been crying much or anything (which is unusual for me). When I found out that she's a Christian - it took a big load off of my shoulders. I just know she's chattin' with angels telling 'em how to do their jobs. ;)

Hi Everyone!

TGIF y'all!

The good news is that I have nothing to do all weekend.

The bad news is that I have nothing to do all weekend.

I'll probably end up playing video games most of the day or maybe sitting in front of CF a bit too.

I've got a long list of stuff to do...but it's a nice mix of work and fun. :D

Laundry (never ending!)
Yardwork
Visiting a friend
Grocery shopping
Hang out with my sis/nephews (bro-in-law will be in the Florida Keys doing some fishing)
Detail my car

I'm considering riding my bike to the local green market tomorrow morning if it isn't raining.

Oh - my dog is going to the groomer's for a spa day! ;)

Oh that reminds me, I do have to do my laundry but it really doesn't take that much time, it just requires that I be there to change it out.

I own so many clothes that laundry is never ending. I wear at least two outfits a day - work and after work. Plus all the kid stuff.

I swear my laundry multiplies in the hamper overnight, tho!

Yeah that has a tendency to cause that. Half the days I get home from work and I'll get in my PJ's at like 6 pm.

Actually I shouldn't paint it like I have nothing to do this weekend, I do have to prep for Sunday school and teach as well as do laundry and stuff. The thing is that when someone asks me what I'm doing on the weekend I don't even mention things that I do every weekend.
