i just had an idea, put all our prayers knowledge and strength, and open out site, to have God's vision in there and have not only one owner, but a group of owners, that will make it easier on descisions, it wlould be done by voting

By the way, rather than criticizing Erwin, present him a solution so it can suit us and him well. Lets not forget how much time and money he spent making CF the site it is now. Administrating a forum is not an easy job as I understand.

The intire forum became opened to all, non christians and christians. The restrictions were removed. Which I personaly had no problem with, and again, I don't care for the name now but thats not why I am annoyed atm, my problem is, the christian boards were shoved to the bottom, and this place isn't the center of Christ anymore.

Far more important than those things. The definition of Christian was removed. Anyone could claim to be a Christian. You could believe that the moon is God the Father and still claim to be a Christian.

Additionally he made it possible for non-Christians to exercise authority over Christians on what was still reportedly a Christian board. (I agree this is only theoretical and hasn't yet happened, but it will)

Well, I have heard the posts on what Erwin has done wrong in leaving "Christ" out of the forums but what I see Erwin has done right. I waited to see if I still was of the same opinion this a.m. and I am.

We have continuous discussions, debates and differences on each of the forums that you link with Christianity while we hash out what we think. I have personally gained a lot from these discussions and yet someone would virtually always throw up the statement that we are Christians and what is it going to look like to those who aren't! Personally, now that it is called social networking, I see this as even more attractive because I see Christians coming together with every differences and talking about them and allowing us to come to informed opinions ourselves.

I believe Erwins move was probably one that would allow me to provoke more folks to joining this forum and then they stumble across one of these threads and find Jesus.

I guess I always did see black when everyone else saw white. I love it. I say yay for ERWIN again! We have been networking right along.

We did present him with a solution. The majority of the membership spoke when the poll was first presented and we requested that it remain ChristianForums...however, our voice was ignored.

why do you think Erwin would listen to us now?

I don't know if she has responded yet or not as I haven't finished reading the thread but Ohioprof has stated in other threads that she doesn't believe the Bible so I don't think her opinion of any particular portion of scripture will mean much.

I've just read pages and pages of bickering over letters. All of these wasted words and wasted time spent over... letters. He said to go into the world and preach the gospel, not go into the world and fight over letters.

Instead of whining and fighting like babies, how about going out and doing something good in the world today.
