The part that is not enforceable is when a non-member says something like, "Guess that makes you not conservative enough". Great, post reported, post deleted. Then, he comes back and makes another snarky reply. Post reported. Post deleted. He can do it until the cows come home and the only thing that happens is that he is given the chance to upset people over and over, the mods have to constantly delete posts in probable multi reports, plus edit or delete anyone who replied to him, and worst of all, have to deal with reports by him when members get angry and reply in a flamable way.

In this context, the rules are not working.

Lisa
The site-wide rules will allow an FSB. There's already precedent established in this area. Talk to the Ecumenical Admins for guidance if any such issue arises.

Get used to this Lisa as this will be a constant fight you will have to deal with and if it isn't one poster then another will come to replace him/her.... it is always ongoing there really was not much even that could be done about it even before the 7-7-7 reforms and unless they put something in the forum wide rules about spite or problematic reporters then you will always have this dilemma.

Real easy for me....

Ummm... NOOOO!!!! Especially now seeing as how this whole site will be much more accomodating to liberal Christians... They've got a bevy of other places to debate their views. This place is for US!
 What he said

This will constantly happen because we have to allow them into the forum. that is for one. Second we no longer have a warning system. Third unless someone decides to put a FSB on the person to teach him/her a lesson then it will continue to happen like I said get used to it, it is part of your job now.

Okay, okay, okay. Everyone just keep it in mind though. This is not going to get better before it gets worse. Put your thinking caps on and lets come up with a solution. There has to be one. I am not one to settle for "There is nothing to be done about this".

What about adding a rule that sets up a precedent for banning a member from CCC if they have persistently caused conflict or disturbed the peace in CCC?

No! NO MORE RULES!

If they become an unbearable pest, bring the case to the Ecumenical Admins and ask them for an FSB.

End of Story.

3) Because of the stark contrast between the Liberal viewpoints vs. Conservative Christian viewpoints, members in this forum can only be a member of one, not both, of these fora.

That's the one I don't understand. :)

And don't forget, the clarification and definition of what a Christian is wasn't changed for this section - so they have free run of THIS AREA already.

Maybe the rules have relaxed to where we can actually argue points appropriately instead of having our hands tied behind our backs in debating?

It's probably because WWMC and CC don't regard "membership" in the same way. That doesn't mean though, that CC should adopt WWMC's definition of what it means to be a "member".

I am just brimming with frustration right now and projecting it onto this issue rather than the one I am truly frustrated with. IOW, I am upset by taking Christ out of these forums.

I'm with you my friend.

My issue is, they needed to change a little more to guard the CHRISTIAN area better; as it stands, we already had nonconservatives taking over & good Christians left becuz of the warnings they kept getting while arguing hardcore liberalism;

We not only STILL have the liberalism, but the site went secular on top of it...
It's like compounding the downside for US. I think the Wiki area will have confusion while they try to make it politically correct now too...??

We're allowed to limit certain types of posting via our WIKI. Lutherans can't debate in the Catholic Forum. Catholics can't debate in the Reformed Forum. Liberals can't debate in the Conservative Forum. Adults can't post in the Teen Section.
I know, but she is talking about having areas where they can't post at all. And the Teen section is the ONLY place that allows that type of restriction.
