The mods can still rest on the Sabbath, they can check things after the sun has set wherever they are. Think of this forum like the utility company and the Orthodox Jews, the gas, electricity, water and phone lines are there 24/7 if they want to use it during Sabbath hours but they choose not to. They do not ask them to switch off the mains or cut the phone lines. :o)

And you think with a 'full battle royal with eye gouging and hair pulling' going on in the forum, a mod will be able to come in and ignore it and calmly fellowship and read the current Bible lesson on the Sabbath. If you believe that, I have a big beautiful lot near the Everglades to sell you......

Some obscure figure* a couple thousand years ago said that it was "lawful to do good."

*But then he was only a carpenter so what would he know? And he was unemployed on top of it!

And you think that when said 'full battle royal with eye gouging and hair pulling' has been going on all week the posts will suddenly disappear on the Sabbath because you have a rule in place that says such behavior is not tolerated on the Sabbath? You will have to ban such postings some time before the Sabbath begins to give the mods time to deal with them and for violators to make their edits before the Sabbath hours begin. How much lag time will be needed? Twenty-four hours? A two day Sabbath sounds about right.
