No. I just think they are taken in the wrong context. If you would cross reference I think it would help. You never did respond to my other post I did about Abraham and Isaac. What did you think about it?

The Abraham and Isaac example is still a good example of what kind of God the Judeo-Christian God is. Family should always come first, even if it means making the God you're worshipping [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]ed, he shouldn't expect that he comes first all the time and especially not in that case since you really can't ask a father to kill his son to see how obedient he is.

Biological family comes first, not in the God family way - I'd listen to my son instead of God since we're not related biologically.

I really can't make this clear enough: I despise the Judeo-Christian God and I would never do anything he told me to even if he was proven to undeniably exist. There is nothing you can say to change my mind because I know what he did in the OT and it's just horrible.
Christians like you are the only reason I'd join the Christian faith, not because of Jesus, not because of God and certainly not because of insane Christian terrorists. - The only reason I'd join Christianity is because of the community and how they treat eachother, but as it is I don't need it and there are better alternatives for me.

Hey, its not like I haven't gotten the message. Just about every thread you posted on you made it clear. If you want I can try to disprove your view of my Judeo-Christian God. I'd actually love to do it but I'm not going to force you believe. Just try to get you to better understand Him.

Buddhism because it's not based on violence, bigotry and hatred and you don't have to worship anybody and the second alternative is nothing, you don't need religion to be part of a community in my opinion. I'm on here because I like to discuss Evolution and Creationism, you'll see I barely post in any of the other sections.

Well God sure does like telling people what to do and killing innocent people and babies for what a very small part of the people did or for their beliefs, in the OT - Violence, hatred and bigotry.
Really don't bother, the flood is enough for me to know he's a horrible God.

Negative things outweigh positive things for God who's apparently perfect, all loving and all powerful, but still is still worst murderer in the history of man and commited so many atrocities it's beyond me how he can be called perfect, all loving and all powerful.
It's very different for a girlfriend, I know she's human, I know she has flaws and I know isn't perfect - I'd be very prone to forgive her if she said she was sorry and sounded like she really meant it.
And I agree, I'm not interested in hearing about the Judeo-Christian God or any of the good things he's done(Doesn't seem like there's a lot to me though). So I'll just drop this thread and go do something else.

If you're talking about JEHOVAH -- (not Satan) -- then keep in mind that, in the Old Testament, we see JEHOVAH dealing with a whole spectrum of events, in all kinds of conditions.
From peace to war, from obedience to rebellion, from belief to disbelief.
Therefore we see Him loving at times; judgemental at other times.
All in all, He is a holy God, full of mercy, grace, and truth.

Maybe not. If as we believe the universe, world, etc, was created by the Creator Himself as He Says,
then actually in His Perfect Viewpoint , with His Perfect Knowledge Experience and Wisdom,
HE SEES IT as it is. A few thousand years old. AND if He ever wants to , He has or can or will show this clearly as well.
Remember that the world , society , and all the commerce and science "of the world" that is opposed to Him, has NEVER seen it HIS WAY.
