It's a negative personal statement; even if you didn't mean it to be insulting, I think it's difficult to make that sort of statement appear otherwise.

Ok regardings the overzealous christians bit. If those were people outside this forum, elsewhere in the world. Does it really make it right for you to come here and do what you said you do even though no one here did that to you? Why not take it directly to who offended you instead of waving broad attacks against the general christians of the world or this forum for that matter.

True, he's the boss. He's just allowing the work floor to run itself.

but in fairness..why let the general public vote to un ban a person? Erwin should be the one to unilaterally do that in light of his new rules. I mean, ones that weren't trolls etc.

One of the biggest problems this board had is that there were people who the biggest crime you could commit and the fastest way to become a "troll" was to disagree with them. All they had to do then was find a moderator that agreed with them and that person was getting in trouble.

Theoretically, yes. Assuming they let it be known that they were a Satanist, I don't know how they'd do in the elections process.

They may or may not also need a current moderator to nominate them; I'm not sure what the current thoughts are on this.


The teams that make up the rules are self-selecting; if you want a say, you have to go over to the discussion and join in.

In the sense that anyone can select themselves onto the 'team,' yes. In practice, a few more people doing so might be good.
