In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've been taking Vitex (aka chasteberry or agnus castus) for about five days now. The herb is said to nourish your hormone-producing glands. I have PCOS, like several other women on this board, and I don't ovulate on my own, so I'm pretty sure my glands need the nourishing.

Anyway, today, 42 days into my cycle, I've got lots of eggwhite cervical mucous. I don't think this is a coincidence. I'm very excited -- this makes me think that my body might not be completely broken.

Anyone who considers taking Vitex should research it thoroughly, as you would any medication, but I think it might help women like me, with hormonal imbalances.

Thank you soo much!! I'm really hoping for good news with his results. And even more, I'm hoping af doesn't show on Friday! You should have about 5 days left to go in your tww, right? I'm praying for BFP's for both of us!
Yes, 5 days left in my 2ww and I am going camping this weekend, I leave Friday night and will come back Monday morning in time for work. That should help the 2ww go by much faster!

Yes, it should!! I hope you have a great time - camping is so much fun! All I have to really keep me busy is hopefully some yard work I want to get done this week - and, of course, my job. I hope it goes by fast for both of us! I will be praying every day!!

Well I really had about 8 or 9 eggs but most were to small and not mature. So I'm so happy, I had 4!! God is so good, last time I prayed for 2 and got 3, this time I prayed for 2 or 3 and got 4. Well the re called and said to do the shot on thursday night and IUI on Sat. So my blood levels weren't ready yet for the hcg shot. So if my eggs were 18, 15, 14, 13, by sat they should be, 24, 21, 20, 19?? I wonder if they will do another u/s to see how many I have??

Thanks girl for your support. Since I'm new here will you tell me your stories and what cd you are on. I would love to get involed with your ttc journy, but I dont know where to start.

That's good news! I hope all works out for you!!

As for me, I have been ttc for almost two years. I have had two miscarraiges, the last one 15 months ago. Both were very, very early. DH and I have finally started the testing phase to make sure nothing is wrong. Waiting on his results right now - and they did some tests for me. They turned out fine. So if DH is fine, they will run more tests on me. I am currently on CD23 - I've been saying AF should arrive on Friday, but it looks like I was wrong - I have to wait until Saturday. It has been tough recently with DH's best friend having a baby last month, my bf about five months along, my sister due in October and his sister due in February - everyone but me, it seems. Hoping for a miracle this month! :)

Just talked to the clinic - and DH's tests were all okay!! I'm so relieved!! But... now it brings it back to me - and what could be wrong. I set up an appointment for next Thursday. Doctor said he wanted to do a pelvic exam and discuss what to do next. I have a feeling this is only going to get more fun... oh well, whatever I have to do, right? :) Thank you everyone, for all the prayers!!

Still praying for you, godsgirldre!! I hope next week is it for you!

How is everyone doing in the tww?? I have one more day to wait. I have been praying twice as much this month, I think. And I have had quite a few people come to me this month to let me know that they are praying for me as well. With all these prayers, I can't help but feel positive... I won't be online until Monday - but hope to have good news! And if not, I just pray that I can accept the disapointment again. Good luck to all of you who are also in the tww - I will be saying a prayer for you all as well!!

Jenrenee, I have been though all the test possiable and they cant find anything wrong with me or dh. Un-explained infertility?? Prayers are the best thing for ttc.
Renee

That would be so tough... I have been thinking about that alot - what if they don't find anything? One thing they told me was that I had a tipped or tilted uterus. They found that out during a regular exam... my doctor said if all my tests come out okay, than that is probably what is giving me problems, although it is still possible to get pg. It must be so frustrating for you!! I will say lots of prayers for you and hope it all works out... yes, prayer is the absolute best thing!!

Jenrenee, So if all your test come back fine, what will they do for a tipped uterus? Is there a surgrey that you can have? Good luck girl. I'm praying for you!!

Thank you so much for the prayers, I will let you know how it went on Monday. So after tommorrow I will be back in the 2ww again, I hope it flys by. I'm not worring about it this month, I'm laying it down at Jesus feet, It's all up to Him anyways, so why worry, right. Well I hope I'm this relaxed and calm after the IUI, during the 2ww.
Thanks for your support.

Hi everyone,

Just to say hello and catch up as I haven't been around much this week. i' realised today that i've worked 68 hours this week. I'm physically and mentally exhausted. My cycle is weird again this month and I'm not sure when to count as the first day of AF. I've been bleeding very very lightly for the whole of the last week. This happened last month, followed by three days extremely heavy bleeding and then another four days of mediaum bleeding. It's making it really hard to work out when ovulation day is, although, to be honest, I'm so shattered from work that maybe it's better if I don't gett pregnant until the summer holidays (vacation) as at least then I'll be healthy.

Just five days to go and I have my final teaching assessment and will be recommended for QTS (Qualified teacher status) if everything goes well. My last lesson observation is tomorrow morning, so I'm just praying that I won't experience heavy bleeding. Last month I had to change my clothes twice in one day. Looking forward to the academic year being over. I'm ready for a break. Good to see nothing's wrong with your hubby jenrenee - hope they find the same with you - that it's only a matter of time.

God bless you everyone,

maharg

As a UK trained teacher I can only say: well done for getting through your QTS year and I hope tomorrow morning's observation is the crown jewel of all your lessons! No wonder you've been stressed an over-worked! What subject / age group are you working in, if you don't mind my asking? I'm secondary history. The first year post PGCS is hideous, but it really does get SO MUCH easier, I promise! As I said, well done! And hope the holidays bring you rest and a BFP!

In my case normally AF due next Sat latest, but maybe had a bit of spotting today - implantation bleeds or slightly early AF? I don't dare to hope...

Hiya - I'm not sure about the observed lesson tomorrow being the jewel - I haven't planned it yet! I hope it will be ok though. I know what the lesson will be about and I have some resources, but I've had so many reports to write - all due in tomorrow - that I haven't done any planning for next week yet. I wrote 34 reports today and It's taken me over four hours so I'm a bit shattered.

I'm teaching religious education and French - 11-16. I've been working on an 18-lesson per week timetable since September and they started using me for cover lessons as well in March, so I can't wait to be an NQT because they aren't supposed to give you cover for the first term - I'll be at a different school and I think they treat their staff better there. I'll miss the kids where I am working at the moment, especially my year 7 tutor group - they are really sweet.

As for AF, she came really heavily today and I have quite a tummy-ache. It's a good thing though really because it's at its heaviest on the first day so at least it should probably be slightly lighter tomorrow.

Hoping that it's implantation bleeds for you!

ahhh... year 7 are so gorgeous! Hope the lesson went well! And well done for getting so many reports written. True story: the first school I taught in, one of the maths teachers wrote the following report

"Johnny sets himself low standards which he consistently fails to meet."

LOL

Thank you! I'm really not sure what they can do, if anything. They mentioned at one point that they could move it to how it is supposed to be but it will just go back to the way it was... or something like that. I just had a Nurse practitioner look at this, and my doctor is doing an exam on Thursday, so hopefully he can tell me more about it...

Good to see nothing's wrong with your hubby jenrenee - hope they find the same with you - that it's only a matter of time.

Maharg, thank you! I am so relieved it's not him - and hope we can find something out soon. I have been thinking of you and hope everything works out for you! Maybe God has a perfect timing all planned out for you - good luck!!

As for me, AF showed on time on Saturday. It only brought me down for a day, and then I went to church yesterday and felt so much better. Usually I stay upset for so much longer, so that's a plus. I have an exam set up for Thursday, so I hope they find something out that will help. Also found out my sister is planning to name her baby Jaelyn Mariah - such a pretty name, but I'm sooo jealous!! :)

WHEN your baby is born, he / she will have a beautiful name too!

I have this vague memory that when I was scanned for possible endometriosis (because AF was soooooooo painful) they siad I had a tipped uterus. That was before I had two healthy children - so don't let a tipped uterus scare you!

from this site: http://www.womens-health.co.uk/retrover.asp
Will A Retroverted Uterus Affect Fertility?
Many women who have a retroverted uterus worry that it will affect their future fertility. However, this condition does not appear to affect conception in any way, and most women with retroverted uteruses will go on to experience healthy pregnancies.

I thought I was all cool this month and I was going to just wait till way past the due date if AF didn't show but I am getting ants in my pants! I've had miniscule spotting yesterday and a little cramping this morning but nothing since. My cycle is usually a bit shorter so tomorrow morning would be 26 days, about my cycle length. I have a test hidden in the back of the cupboard... the temptation to POAS is HUGE. My heart is racing as I write this.

What would you do?
