OIL

Some treat the Lord with no respect
So few seek time to pray
Man’s lamps to God are in neglect
Though Christ is on His way

Ten virgins served on Zion hill
Their lamps were burning bright
But oil from five began to spill
Whilst walking through the night

Their lives were fine, or so they thought
Like Samson once before
He gave no mind that he’d be caught
When oil poured out the door

God’s Holy Ghost was in his heart
He’d felt Him many times
But God from Samson had to part
Because of selfish crimes

Now Moses was a righteous man
He loved enough to care
Twas in the Lord Jehovah’s plan
His oil from him to share

To help a nation on it’s way
God’s children to their goal
Yet seventy; received that day
The oil from but one soul

Without the oil of God at hand
Without His living Son
Many may try to make a stand
But find it can’t be done

In church today we sit and wait
This too she must repent
When prayer bounce back from Heaven’s gate
Her oil, has long been spent…

What a privilege to be alive and change a wrong direction

DENOMINATIONS
We see church numbers slip and slide
We watch them close their gate
When through denominational pride
We choose to segregate

Yet God’s resolved to make us one
Devoid of sin and shame
Uniting in His only Son
And in His holy name

We say the other church is wrong
Our doctrine rich and fair
But is it not the devil’s song?
When love we fail to share

The church, to free herself of rot
Must stop this foolish fight
Must be aware of Satan’s plot
Must now in Christ unite

We need to think before we speak
Question the things we tell
Not try to make the bride grow weak
Through tales that come from hell

We each today should understand
Such things to lay aside
That all within Christ’s mighty hand
Were chosen as His bride

We need to love with all our heart
Until the church is whole
Not with our mouth tear Christ apart
And fail to reach our goal

When one united in God’s sight
When hand in hand we sing
We’ll stand in robes of Liquid Light
Then rise on Heaven’s Wing

Should seek Salvation’s face
Resolve to do, as Jesus will
In power of His grace

Humility is God’s delight
True righteousness, His love
Self sacrifice man’s utmost height
Reached only through The Dove

When selfless love we come to share
Our faith we then employ
The fruit to God in truth we bear
Hell’s parasites destroy

All Satan’s lies we’ll come to see
We’ll penetrate his guise
The word of God will set us free
Above all doubts to rise

When finally truth has been conceived
When love at last is won
When heart and soul have Christ believed
Will bride and Groom be one

What joy in Heaven will resound
What songs redeemed will sing
The wedding feast on hallowed ground
Displayed before The King

When all the books are searched and read
Life’s race, when finally won
Eternity will raise her head
The Father’s will be done…

BLESS MY EYES
Bless my eyes the truth I’ve seen
The living Christ on whom I lean
God’s secret things I now behold
Salvation’s truth more pure than gold

Bless my eyes to see this day
The living God who’s on His way
With heart and soul His bride awaits
In light she’ll rise through Heaven’s gates

Bless my eyes I see the cloud
To praise my God I cry aloud
Christ Jesus comes just as He said
He’ll call the quick and raise the dead

His loving eyes so full of grace
