CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ooh, I don't have one real favorite. I have a lot. Kelly Clarkson, Reba McIntyre, Martina McBride, that Dixie Chicks chick who's married to that cute guy from Heroes, ...anyone who can belt it out there and still make it sound like an angel from heaven, I'm a fan of.

Cuddles with my daughter, kindness, smiles, laughter, stupid jokes, someone volunteering to do the dishes when neither I or the child slated for the chore was having a very good day, tears shared, talks listened to, children reached on a level that actually meant something, husband signing up daughter for cheerleading, making calls that I couldn't make, picking up the slack where I fall short, hugs, watching my children jump on the trampoline, working in the garden, seeing the church building going up, looking at our life and feeling blessed, my husband helping me make the bed, kitty laying on the floor to be pet, talking a friend down from worry and earning her trust, hair color finally the way I want it, watching a tear jerker movie "Bridge to Tarabithia" with my children, complimented dinner, a client paying in time for us to make payroll, getting 8 hours of sleep last night and not waking up in so much pain that I couldn't move, not having to make lunch today, and fresh from the oven, home baked cookies!
