He can probably speak it much better than I do, it has been 10 years since I had the opportunity to speak it at any great length.

It's really kinda weird, all those years of German class, and we never hear him utter a word of it.
Although, he made A's in the class every semester!

I love to speak German, even though I have forgotten much of it. I had to learn French in HS because my puny little HS didn't offer German, and I remember very, very, very little French.

Sorry to change the subject, but do you guys remember field day in elementary school?
Well, we've been blessed with an elementary school playground back to back with our backyard. There's just a ditch and a fence between us. When my kids went to that school, everyday I spied on them to make sure they weren't getting picked on.
Anyway, today is field day, and I'm enjoying watching them play all the fun games!!!
Not that you care, but I thought I'd share that with you.

Phew! I've been picking up and cleaning all day and I'm wiped and still have plenty to do. Plus it's always a losing battle anyways... guess I get to put hubs to work a bit when he gets home. He tends to keep it more neat when he has to participate in the cleaning. Plus it's him who is having guests coming this weekend. Just have to wait for Mr Stinkyboots to come home.

You sound like me. In my French class in college, I answered a question orally in one sentence combining French, Spanish, and Latin. The teacher rolled her eyes.

Hey Don and Jenn, the Newport News Greek Fest is next weekend, so we can do it all over again!!!

It's being held at the GOC at the intersection of J Clyde Morris and I-64. I have wanted to check that place out since it's only a few years old.

We ought to try to go together somehow.

I would love to! I had a meeting at that Holiday Inn next door to it, and kept wanting to leave the meeting to go see what was under those golden domes! Now I can't remember which exit it is, and am sure I'd recognize it just as I'm passing it....

Gessoing icon panels. I would rather have 36 grit sandpaper rubbed on my back than have to apply multiple coats of gesso and then wet sand an icon panel.
