How is Nash bunny doing?

Beep Beep has decided he wants to go by his middle name. He's doing quite well. We snuggled for a nice time last night when I got home. He'll hop around on the couch next to me, then hop up into my arms for some snuggles. When he's had some good snuggles, he'll hop back down and play for a bit before jumping right back up into my arm. He's quite snuggly and ended up taking a nap on me while I watched a bit of television.

I have lots of fish. Boo Radley is my betta in my bedroom. I have Atticus, Finch, Donut Hole and Jack in the kitchen. Then I have a handful of other fish in a 20 gallon tank in the office but only the bottom feeder has a name, The Fighting Betsey. Then I also have Sir Elton John the Rocket Dog (Elton) who is a sheltie and thinks he is a teddy bear to be snuggled with every second of every day.

They love each other. Sometimes when Beep Beep is in his cage, Elton will snuggle up against the outside and Beep Beep will snuggle up against the inside like they're snuggling through the wire.

When Beep Beep comes out of his cage, I spread out a blanket on the couch (to protect it from the poopies and such). Elton likes to get up on the blanket too and let Beep Beep climb around on him.

Of course he does. He knows the typical sit, lay down, roll over, come, high five and shake commands. He knows "get on the couch" and "come snuggle" too. My fave, and the first things he learned are "gimme a kiss" and he'll give a single sweet little kiss and "let me kiss you" where he'll put his head against your chest so you can kiss the top of his head.

From God of course!

I knew I wanted a puppy and did research on what sort of dog would be a good companion for me but also do well in an apartment. I decided I wanted a Sheltie and watched the newspaper ads for puppies until I finally saw some Shelties. It was three weeks between deciding what sort of dog I wanted and actually seeing an ad for some. But that day there were three people with ads for Shelties so I left messages for all of them. I knew I wanted a male dog and the first guy to call me back told me to come check out his puppies. So my mom and I went and this sweet sweet puppy was sitting in the back of the playpen with a sweet white stripe down his nose and raccoon looking eyes. I figured he was the dog for me. But when he started wagging his tail to Elton John's Rocket Man, I knew he was the perfect dog for me and that his name was Elton.

he protects me yes. he barks at anyone trying to come near my door or windows or fence. and he has a vicious sounding bark when he needs to.

Not really. I always forget to turn the tv on early enough to catch it. Plus, I think it helps my rose colored glasses not break when I'm oblivious to the bad stuff.


However, it did make me sad that Vonnegut died yesterday.
