Is anyone interested in reading Behe's first post-Dover book on evolution and Intelligent Design? I expect that his arguments will be more sophisticated and based upon positive evidence rather than appeals to ignorance.

I hope you read it, punchy, especially the part where (according to the editorial review)

He carefully examines the data of evolution, along the way making an argument for universal common descent that will make him no friends among young-earth creationists,​

I know you are not a young-earth creationist, but you do seem to have problems with evolution and common descent. Perhaps Behe can convince you.

Unfortunately I blew my birthday book budget before hearing of this book so it will be some time before I can read it, unless I find it in a library.

One thing that troubles me is the linkage of "evolution" and "Darwinism" in the title. I have always found IDists to be very lax in defining what they mean by "Darwinism". Sometimes they seem to use it to oppose evolution (although Behe does not); sometimes to oppose atheism (and that's ok as long as it is not taken to imply that evolution requires atheism), and sometimes I really don't know what they are talking about.
