CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jesus (and I pronounce it in spanish out of respect) died for OUR sins, not the sins of Adam and Eve, which made man fall in the eyes of the Lord. The reason we're here and have all the suffering and don't exist above the angels is because of this sin we all bear due to their selfishness and lust for one anothers' fruits. Jesus did not die for this, as His Father took care of business like the Hells Angels do with truckers that don't pay their meth bills. Jesus died to clear man and allow him a conduit through which we can save our souls.

Oh so the savior of the world (who is God in human form) is not able to save us from our origional sin? So whats the point of Jesus? I think God can do that.

the problem is it's not what you think the Lord can and can't do, as it's not up to you. You don't even realize you're putting your ideas into practice without proof. Have you ever felt God or the the spirit of Jesus? I have and that's why I am returning to Him. You, on the other hand have not.

Ok so Jesus, did not die for all of our sins, so then, what was the point of Jesus? And about the "can and cant" idea, tell me, why would Jesus come here to die only for some of our sins? Does that make any sense?
And what proof do you want?
Your ideas (about God punishing us with disease), have no support now do they. Infact, I am interested, tell me where Jesus mentions anything about punishment like that. And explain when Jesus told the Father to forgive people who put Him on the cross, I dont remember Jesus punishing them.

Jesus died for our sins. You seem to intentionally misquoting me as my posts wrap to another page hoping someone doesn't read to far and sees you misquoting me. We all have original sin, which Jesus didn't come to us for. He offers us a way to repent and cleanse our souls so we may see salvation. Original sin is not our own sins and that is the burden of man, or we'd be above the angels.

You were being judgmental, but I forgive you on that. Well, it depends on who you ask.. I think he does such things to his own children but not all of them.. We still got disease's flowing around and what not but is God just going to just cheer us on and find it or wouldn't he help his own children himself? The reason why I said it depend on who you ask because you get these type of people.. Type in Phelps Family and Tyra Banks on Youtube..

Israel, in the spirit of forgiveness in this thread started by I57, I am going to forgive you for the blasphemy. You may be on a quest to understand and be enlightened by the Lord as I have, so I will be there for you as a brother in that journey. The Lord spoke to me, direct in spirit. There were no words, but I knew what he was saying and there is room for salvation for all of us.
