The DIET DANCE starts MARCH 12th...so get on board...read the rules and away we go.

OK peeps we are 1 day away from DIET DAY so all those starting with us on the 12th sign up again now.
The rules are this...you have to post at least once a week on the 8th day we start Monday the 12th you post the following Tuesday your progress and if you stayed on track. Meanning did you make it thru the day.
You can diet or fast for God your choice.
You must post what you plan is and if you are exercising.
We will start with a 40 day program.
We will do 5- 8 day weeks = 40 days.
Every 8th day you will tell us if you made it thru with out cheating and staying on plan. You will get 1 point for everyday you stay on track and you will pay the the Corporation 1 blessing not me The Lambs ARC CORP ok for everyday you mess up.
And we will all take turns praying on a daily basis for one another. Everyday atleast one of us should pray for the group and post it and I will have them lift the dieters up daily in the ARC thread for prayer.

Gabs dances around the room... ok peeps 12 participants counting down DAY 1 of the 40 day stretch and remember you can restart and replan the regimen at the end of 40 days...I know I will need at least 160 days so I'm going to be redoing this a lot.

Well, thus far, I have done good. It's only 10:44, but hey, progress is progress. I need you all to pray for something for me. I put in for a job in Vocational Rehabilitation, I got a call back on it today for me to come in for an interview. I missed the call, so I don't have anything set up yet, but I need you all to pray that if it is meant for me to get this job, that I will present myself well at the interview and I will get it. We soooooooooooooooo need the money. There would be adjustments as far as who will take care of my granddaughter and things like that, but I feel that it's time for me to get out of this house and do something.

OK, girls...and any guys that happen by..I am going to confess...and I would appreciate prayers.

This chick...Chubby Cherub that I am...have seriously wandered deliberately away from God and hardened my heart over the last several weeks. I am really serious about this...I am going to confess here, then go and spend time with God HOPEFULLY getting it back together...and He accepts this slop covered pig back into His fold. I have deliberatly walked away from God, and been angry at Him for alot of things, for a lot of reasons...and NONE of them really worthy of it. I have been SO totally stupid and selfish and wonder why I feel the way I do. I have thrown up blocks and walls so thick..I wonfer if He can even get through and want to get through to me. I am really that slop covered son in the prodigal story. I am SO totally selfish...anyway...I am off to confess...to the Lord and hopefully get things straightened out......

God will take you back. You are still his child. I have done some incredibly stupid things in my life, so you aren't alone in this. We all disappoint God. He knows we're all "slop covered pigs." It takes a lot of courage to confess your sins to everyone, so you are definitely headed in the right direction now. I will pray for you.

Today is my sabbath, so I'm not working out today. However, I will remain on my diet. I feel so much better, that there is hardly a chance I will go off of it, but I do need to exercise more. i need to get up before the kids and exercise, which is difficult since I go to bed so late. I'm going to try to get up 1/2 hour earlier each day to do 15 minutes of exercise at least, gradually increasing the time, and try to get to the gym at least once a week for major workout.

Father, the amazing Creator of the World and each one of our unique bodies, we Praise You for Your work in our lives, as You gently guide us to be the best we can be. We are honored that the God of the Universe still cares for and loves each one of us with such passion; we are overwhelmed with Your love!
Lord, as with any major change in our lives, this is difficult for us, and we ask you for Your strength to resist the temptation that comes our way. Whether it be food, that big comfy chair, or desire for sleep, help us to hear your voice reminding us to "stay the course". We all want to be as healthy as we can Lord, to be useful in Your kingdom. Please guide and strengthen us throughout this journey. Though we may momentarily fail, please remind us of Your grace, and direct us back on our path of good health. We ask all of these things in your Son's name, Jesus Christ, Who endured more temptation than we will possibly ever go through. Amen
